Senior Member requirements

I've been here long enough to see old members go and new members come. New members eventually find their voice and speak up. And most people are probably banging their head against a wall that there is more disputing going on honestly.. or they accept the decision and see no reason to debate. I'm sure there are others who are affected and they are more than welcome to chip their 2 cents worth in.

Eric, I remember you from long ago before you were the beloved Kiko. Are you still putting poetry to song for those worthy?? If I'm not suspended tonight, I'll delete for good tomorrow, You mod guys and gals are supposed to run a poetry site. For you to do this to the current senior members shows your true intentions, but then again..you know it and don't give a damn. Our way or the highway! Good luck those of you that just wanted to write poetry...

Yes? Not out of a wish to target returning members, but because that was the only way to apply it at all.

My god this is getting seriously irritating! It is what it is, if you don't like it, leave. There are no true intentions. People are here for poetry, poetry, poetry, right? Then who the heck cares if you have senior status or not? THE ONLY THING you get to do is nominate poems. If you're here ONLY to read poetry or post your own, then why do you care?

As always the threats with deleting accounts, but everyone always comes back. The site can't be THAT bad.

It's not the mods making decisions. If it were up to what the majority asked for, we would have something around 20 comments needed praised for senior status. They opted for something lower to ease us into it -- if this much hooey is being brought up over an additional seven comments needed, I can only imagine what would happen with SEVENTEEN comments needed. Good grief.

The rule applies to EVERYONE. Every single person. You have to have 10 comments. No matter if you've been here 5 years or 5 hours.

A majority?? Ohh, sorry, you mean the ones that kiss ass on the main boards. Let's see, how many members are there on here? I guess twenty something for this trumps thousands...

What are our current true intentions? Let's not forget that the mods too are affected by the changes made. We are members, like you guys, and we read, comment, and nominate poetry, like you guys.

I am sorry that some are making this change personal, but it's not. It was an idea put forward by a member, voted on by members, and implemented by Janis and the mods.

Robert, did you vote? If not, why would you choose to not vote if you care about the results?
I don't feel it's fair to call members kiss asses because they contribute to the website and help us make decisions.

Everyone has access to the main boards and tons of time was given to discuss. If they want a say, they should join the discussion.

Because I like the site, I like the changes, and what I don't care for, I just deal with, because to me, the pros outweigh the cons.

Most of people don't participate in anything cuz they are afraid of the main boards.They prefer to be quiet than to expose themselves. Do you know why? Because you guys and gals dont listen to anybody. You are not here for poetry.

Any member who is scared of the main boards is free to come to me personally. We can discuss anything one on one via PM, and if you want me to bring your ideas to the main forums, I can do so anonymously. Not a problem.

I am not interested because you only do what you want.

No people don't participate on the main boards because they don't have an opinion. People are not afraid or they wouldn't be posting poetry on here that exposes some of their inner thoughts to the possible critisms they may recieve on here with their poetry. people who write have more courage than you give them credit for.
