I wonder if Janis is working on a mass PM message for the mods to send to everyone .. that would be cool. It's gone now and I didn't delete it. I wasn't capable of replying, it just said in black bold letters.. Weird.

Yaa, wanna know what's weirder ? I sent a msg for Sib! And when you made thiss thread I went to my sent message and it's not there ..

thaat was a long pm too :'(

I wonder if Janis messed something up.. I'm PMing with people and they are getting it and replying.

Janis was asked to create the "mass PM without reply" feature. Whether this is part of its development I do not yet know.

We've also asked that he give club managers the ability to send mass PM's to their club members. We'll see what happens.

I got that message for a moment then it disappeared. :/

And what is this new button 'Correspondence'? Many many changes have been done while I was gone, hmmm.

I think in the club now we can send a pm for all members!! yahoo!

The "correspondence" button lets you see all messages between you and the other person.

Can a few people confirm that they received the mass PM from the Mod Squad? I just sent one out.

edit: HAHAHaa believe it or not sibsib! I do that ALL the time, (each year I mean) I either tag my frriends on facebook or forward a text msg :P with a LIST of allll the things I want, and each year, there are requests by me for blue cupcakes, yellow birds, yellow flowers, books, and perfumes. And at the end of the msg I tell them how overwhelmed I am by their kindness Lol :P TRY IT.

That is an evilly good idea. I'm gonna do it.

It should be relatively easy to fix since he put everything else in place, no? At least he's still around! I click the PM button more often then the "new messages", but I know for some this may be an issue and wouldn't see.

Now Janis gave you guys a spammer tool to play with! Can we get a "Do not spam me/Remove" button too. Ha ha.....I can see how you guys are going to go trigger happy with it.

I would suggest asking him to put a Question box with a Yes/No/Undecided (or something similar) voting tool in it under account news when you first sign on, where you folks can get a large number of site members (or senior/nominators) opinions by placing your question in it, without folks going and voting in a thread on it. It might be useful when you need input from a larger group of members on certain changes/qns/dilemma's.

It would be cool to have some sort of page dedicated to polls posted by the mods and members could place their votes anonymously (one vote per member, of course). The most recent poll could show up on the front page in the left panel or something, then there could be an option to "view more polls."

Got a PM from the mods today on how to get around the site. BRAVO. This was long needed and I hope that it will go to all new members somehow. GOOD JOB JANIS and MODS.

Yup, I also received it. But it still doesnt give notification.
I received two of those.

Received two messages. But they arent being displayed in the new notifications alert.

I got that message three times.. another one just popped up at 12:37pm (about 6 minutes ago).
