^ Here is something I found about McDonald's food.. How it is processed, and what we're eating exactly. I don't know if it's 100% true, but we cannot deny that. I thought I'd share that in here as I did in our club.

I haven't read it yet, kind of afraid to as I eat Mcdonalds sometimes. A lot of people lately have been talking about this, makes me want to stick to salad or other veggies only anymore, or something else I can grow myself.

I think all people love McDonald, and I eat that like 3 times a month, too.. I can't deny that it's amazingly delicious and jaw dropping, but I mean.. Look at what they're serving us!
I used to work in McDo in summer, everything is so neat and looks enticing, but God knows what's inside the food!!

Abed, I suspect you are on your cell phone (I eliminated the 3 duplicate posts ;-)

One guy that worked in the Franchise Department of a fast food chain once told me: "Larry, you just can't market an eyeball."

When they say "whole hog sausage" it is literal.

    Sorry! I was haha.

    lol Larry, that's true!

I couldn't help but read that, and that is absolutely disgusting. I stopped eating Mcdonalds a long time ago. Matter of fact I don't eat fast food too much anymore...

I go to Wendys. The problem with Wendys is they are too damn expensive, but I will definitely pay the extra money to get REAL MEAT and not gross mushed eyeballs and guts. Thats so gross.

The only thing Id ever get from Mcdonalds is icecream or a smoothie. Show me an article where there is a bunch of nasty shit in that and I will stop getting those as well. lol

I've been to McDonalds once, and I was peer pressured. Never again.

I knew there was a reason I never liked McDonalds burgers.

Sometimes I gotta eat those fries, though. Mm. When it's 2 in the morning and you're coming in from a night out? Oh yeah, baby.

I've never really liked eating there and I'm sure many fastfood places have some interesting food items from what they are made of.

    Subway Spicy Italian!

I'm sure Taco Bell has awful things in it, but my level of love for the Cheesy Gordita Crunch borders on religious, so I'll be willfully ignorant.

Kind of sad because You'd be dazzled to know how many Mekdeez branches we have here in Jeddah, There is Literally a branch in every other street, It's annoying, And its the only thing that open 24/7 as for a food diner, And people buy it sometimes twice a day.

Sibs that's my favorite from taco bell! I'm pretty big on carls Jr teriyaki burgers, yummy. Subway is the way I'm starting to go now, I prefer turkey with a ton of veggies. Mmm.

Dont know why you are pointing the finger at McDonalds here..

And I'm not a McDonalds fan but

Their meat burgers are 100% meat, no MSM, no additives, nothing but meat. no binders nothing else....they are 78% lean

They only use chicken meat, no chicken msm, no offals nothing else.

Yes chicken msm and beef mdm is used by some cheaper end smallgoods products, but in the USA and Australia it can't contain offals of any description. In fact most offals are worth more than MDM..

there are plenty of companies that will try and cheat and put cheap meat products in their smallgoods but not the reputable ones like McDonalds....

best we do the research rather than just read the cover...

I saw Teryaki somewhere in here.

    I just wanna say,

God bless the person that invented it with 4367374684 children and 78 buckets of KFC..

cause it is the best thing in the world.

I mean, ofcourse it contains me, ya know?
they are these noodles named after me too

    Yakisoba something,

I am taking over the world, obviously.

I will make the world safe for poets everywhere when I'm at the top okay.

"Whadaya know Sib, we cannot deny this article! How do you know Nicko about that? Any evidence?"

Oh, the article could totally relay factual information, I just meant that the article itself is maybe not the best source, since it's not something like a news article or scientific journal. Based purely on the informal way its written, I'd want to be pointed to more statistics before being swayed one way or another. It could also be, like Nicko said, that the standards for the food vary from country to country. The article might be true for some places and not for others.

  • Decayed

Totally right! I said also that it's not 100% true because yes, it's not some kind of official article.

But I still demand from Nicko some links that prove the other way around...

  • Nicko

I'm posting this from my phone.. And can't quote for all countries but pretty sure there quality assurance is world wide

Demand evidence...???? Interesting when this tenuous link does't offer any, and there's no real reference to McDonalds other than insinuation.

Evidence ok. I worked for 10 years For what is now JBS Swift Australia, a global company (do a search) we supply McDonalds with most of there beef here in Australia and the USA we are talking major volumes. It has to be exactly 78 chemical lean or the patties will not bind. They have developed a process where they don't use any additives or binders just 100% beef. No offals are used it is forbidden by law or else it would have to be labeled as such. There are Gov inspectors on site plus OH & S officers. The process is rigorously monitored, McDonalds have too much to lose.

We also owned the McDonlds distribution chain in Australia, but not the USA (F J Walkers) which was sold about 8 - 10 years ago so have a pretty good inner knowledge of how McDonalds works, there mail is screened daily as they have bomb threats etc. they are in the spotlight all the time, smear campaigns are run all the time even there competitors try and discredit them because they are so successful, and another reason they have to be 100% legitimate.

    It's all pretty logical really

As for there chicken, they only use 100% chicken breast meat. They publicize that themselves..

I said it's not 100% true. And I was just sharing this... I'm not telling people not to go eat McDo as I eat that myself and have worked there, too.

And what you said is great, but you know... fear can overwhelm us especially that you were maily refering to Australia chains? I hope it's like that all over the world. Thanks for sharing.

Thank God for herbivore's like me. No need to worry about chicken or beef procesing or "mad cow disease". Ha ha! Go Vegan guys....the only way to truly respect all life-forms in the animal kingdom and keep them away from our food chain.

  • A lonely soul

Meatless pasta....love it all the time.
Beef.........try Trader Joe shopping for substitutes.

VEGANISM is a way of thinking and adopting AHIMSA, a ideological concept borne out of respect for all life, human or not, in the animal kingdom, that I grew up with. If you can think animal cruelty, you can always say NO to beef, chicken, lambs, crabs, or seafood or whatever.
I can understand that my belief's are in a minority here, but just raising a point, that we do not need to kill to fill our hungry tummies or makes our taste buds happy. There are tangier options to the vegan too.

  • Britt

Or we can eat beef and other animals because we think its yummy. :)

Vegetables and fruits are technically living until they're pulled from the ground/tree etc.. gotta 'kill' them to eat it too.

  • A lonely soul

Sure, we have a choice to eat what pleases our taste buds.

Yes, vegetables and fruits are living, but belong to the PLANT KINGDOM, a regenerating system. Most times we only take fruits, leaves or branches for our nourishment, all of which are replaceable. By contrast no animals or "chicken legs" "or "lamb chops" can be regenerated, nor can they be taken without the sacrifice of the animal. The concept of AHIMSA in VEGANISM applies differently.....to consume for nourishment in the minimally damaging way to any life form. To consume plant food, is much less damaging than to consume something which has a "thinking brain". Plant kingdom does not have brain (central nervous sytem), though I agree they have cells, the basic building blocks of life.
And sorry, you have not outwitted me, as of yet! But, please keep trying. It is so much more fun this way.
