    I already posted that in another board.... maybe here it's seen by all.

    I remember that this poetess , "Raspberry Ice Nymph" was here on the site. anyone knows what happened to her?

    She had poems titled:

    Acrid Fog
    Obscure Mist

    Can you imagine a Hooter's waitress reaction after asking what you would have; you anwered

    Sex on the beach with a Raspberry Ice Nymph?

    Lol Me too, but rather for an Ice cream... I wish.

    Haaaaa, Michael. That made me giggle.

    I think a Raspberry Ice Nymph would have to be chilled, sparkling, and somewhat minty. Maybe raspberry syrup, sparkling water, and gin with a few mint leaves? I'm not too knowledgeable about fancy drinks, to be honest. I tend to keep it simple ; )

    I think the Starbucks Coffee Co should make you an offer.

    I'm all for trying this one - bet it'll be great in the summer

    Let the world know that Sib's gets credit for the drink & name

    Haha, yes! But someone else can take the blame if it turns out to be disgusting. Mint and fruit don't always jive, man.

    Gin=bitter
    Sparkling water=fuzzy tasting
    raspberry=subtly sweet
    mint=spicy, tingly
    How about some lemon or orange to make it sour, and arouse all the taste buds?
    AND
    Having a nice morning after, multi-tripping to the bathroom!

    All kidding aside...I do remember this person...her name was Melody...so...LP..you got your answer...what happened to her?

    Tart, cuts the dry mouth deliciously. The mint balances the raspberry nicely.

    I'm trying this this weekend.

    12 years ago

    YAY! I'm so glad it's alright. I will try making it at the next opportunity.

    Now for my next drink, "The Godfather." Hm. The base is hot rum, add a pinch of sugar. Now for the twist, steep some black tea in rum for two minutes. Stir with a cinnamon stick.

  • Britt

    That sounds friggin good!

  • sibyllene

    I forgot to note: you should throw the cinnamon stick away after you're done, otherwise the Family might think you've gone a bit soft, and your "business rivals" in other branches of the Mob might seek to undermine you.

  • Larry Chamberlin

    I'm gonna make 'em a stick they can't re-use.

    Larry! Hahaha

    My first thought was of scotch. It seemed most Larryish. But I don't know that I've ever actually had scotch, so I couldn't imagine what it would taste like.

  • Britt

    It's yuck. Scotch is too... Dry?

  • Larry Chamberlin

    You should try a single malt 15 year plus with a lotta peat in it, maybe Bowmar or Lagavulin

  • CuteThingsGoneWrong

    A simple rum and coke will do me....

    Scotch. One of the few alcohols ive never tried. Well i know what im doing tomorrow.

    This is by far the most frustrating thread.

    Every single time I see it, I think the "Nymph" says "Narph" and I go to click on it, all the while contemplating confusedly why anyone would categorize me with raspberries and ice.

  • Larry Chamberlin
    12 years ago

    Drink variant:

    Raspberry Ice Narph

    Sibs?

  • sibyllene
    12 years ago

    I dunno, I think Narph is citrus all the way. Something with orange juice or pineapple.
