I guess when they usually reply quickly and then take long you automatically thing something's wrong... and I mean me lol

I have made complaints before and they have usually fixed it up straight away, I guess they're busy this time around.

    Thanks for that info

    Hey!

I've just noticed that one of my other poems has just ended up on Gooftastic's blog. I am wondering if he's been able to log onto the website somehow...

    http://gooftastic.blogspot.com.au/#!/2012/04/craving.html

    http://www.best-love-poems.com/poems.php?id=1191206

He may have created a new user name.

Anyone can see any poem regardless if they log in or not. Which stinks!

  • Lioness

Yes but the mods made it so that his IP was blocked, not just cancelled his account.

He's found another way to log on with a new IP or something.

  • Daisy if you do

Right but you could still look up all those things regardless if the IP is blocked. That only stops you from signing in, not viewing whatever he can without ever logging in.

** I don't know this to be a fact but I believe that is the way it works, maybe one of the mods or one of the sites computer gurus could help with this answer.

If the IP is blocked then it should ban you from the site altogether... But its easy to get a new IP.

Ya so, excuse me if this was mentioned before, within the endless posts, just wondering, did anyone contact Yunes ? as in email..gmail..etc?

  • Lioness

Google have removed two of my poems from his blog but I have also filled out another form for the remaining poems that Andrea and James put together.

    Hopefully soon!!!

Nana from what I understand this guy doesn't respond to e-mails etc.

I did too... so did my hubby... he's silent as a snake in the grass.

  • Lioness

    Yeah he doesn't care I don't think.

I wonder though - even if google remove the poems from his blog - would they send him a warning???

  • Daisy if you do

He doesn't care and he was quite arrogant about it in one of those other blogs, the underground one, if you read it he said he has to put food on the table somehow and he don't care and he steals artwork and articles as well. They had also contacted google and got no response. There was also someone on there who is a member here too, I can't remember but I think it was a girl, but I don't think there screen name there is the same as here. They mentioned they were on P&Q also.

  • Lioness

He's got no talent and can't get a real job. The site where he makes the money was taken down though because I let them know what he was doing. Unless blogspot makes money somehow... at least google did take down my two poems. Hopefully they will take down the remaining.

This guy is seriously an idiot

  • Sunshine

Lol hahaha hun. Yes he is a dork but he should know right from wrong. He should find another way to put food on the table

He is not only on google plus but a couple of other sites as well. He is relentless and won't stop.

Check this site out and see if there is something that may be of some help.

And here is a link of someone who knows the ABC's of how to fight Plagiarism with Google much better, in addition to the online DMCA reporting form already posted above by Sibyllene.

    http://webdesign.about.com/od/copyright/a/google_copyrigh.htm

It has a FAX#, and postal address to report the Plagiarism to its legal/DMCA division and how to write your Plagiarism complaint in legal format, leaving a paper trail.

    {My suggestion: The mods should consider sending the complaint via fax/registered mail on behalf of the plagiarized website, as Mr. Goof.. has lifted the site articles as well, in addition to 100's of poems from the website members. A simple letter as shown in the link, to request that the entire account be banned, not simply delete individual poems, given the seriousness of the crime.}

    Address for Blogger Complaints:

    Google, Inc.
Attn: Google Legal Support, Blogger DMCA Complaints
    1600 Amphitheatre Parkway
    Mountain View, CA 94043

    OR fax to:

    (650) 618-2680, Attn: Blogger Legal Support, DMCA Complaints

And this link from her page shows how to regularly search for your plagiarized material using copyscape and google:

    http://webdesign.about.com/od/copyright/ss/fight_theft.htm

All the best to innocent victims of our masterheistman, of people's art/emotions.

And for Janis and his team of mods, a free banner to post on the front page (and perhaps each page) that may help dissuade future plagiarists:

    http://webdesign.about.com/gi/o.htm?zi=1/XJ&zTi=1&sdn=webdesign&cdn=compute&tm=24&gps=232_327_1276_620&f=00&su=p284.13.342.ip_p504.6.342.ip_&tt=29&bt=1&bts=1&zu=http%3A//www.copyscape.com/

Indeed, he has a good taste, for he did not pick a single one of mine......now I know why when I comment on good work, I rarely get a r............. :)

  • Daisy if you do

That is BS! Does it give you a message as to why its locked, try to change your password, my yahoo was locked the other day also and had nothing to do with this as I haven't sent any emails to him

:O no.....am not believing this guy is an asshole, god I even told him that he can take all of my poetry just leave others! I didnt threaten him, no msg nothing not even ..

EDITED: I guess the best thing is to delet my actual account on here....

  • Daisy if you do

No don't you do that then he wins.

  • nouriguess

I'm not going to stay here watching my best poems of my favorite authors being stolen, I am going to delete my account tomorrow morning or ask the mods to stop it or something and I'll give my ALL for my dearest Yunes, I'm going to kick his ass of all sites not just where he makes his money from.

God, I began to feel annoyed and better for him not to make me!

  • Daisy if you do

Well you leaving isn't going to stop him. There are certain channels and things that everyone needs to try to combine efforts and get it done, one person leaving doesn't mean squat to him.

Not trying to be mean but he will still take your friends poems regardless if you are here or not and then you won't be here for your friends.

  • nouriguess

No, it's not that. It's just... I have the time now and I haven't had it since a very long while, so I was thinking I can take a break from here and just space myself for the little Yunes.

Secondly... He can't reach me if I'm not here, so...

I dont know, does it sound that stupid? lol
I just dont want to get my club members into any serious trouble with him

  • A lonely soul

    Brreeeaaathe Poetess.

"He can't reach me if I'm not here, so..."
    ^
Are you going to accept defeat, so quick? Hellon closed her account, presumably for the same reason, but if you talented folks all do that, as Dixiedaisy said, you are accepting defeat from a pipsqueak.
He can't reach you or anyone here anyway. His one IP is blocked. He is using a second IP to view and steal poems.
You can block him from replying to your Yahoo account once you get to log on to Yahoo again, if you fear his retaliation.
If Yahoo disabled your account, you can ask Dixiedaisy or any other Yahoo member to appeal on your behalf, citing your anger at his plagiarism. I doubt seriously that Yahoo will block your account access that easily, unless you threatened to cut his b... (think that was LP) or make him d.....(^)
    (Just a joke,,ha ).

Have you wondered why the mods are whisper quiet on this issue?
They learn from Larry to keep their cool! Even Jane! I guess they are helpless for the moment, until Google listens to them. Aren't you surprised? But, yes they can submit another fax/certified mail complaint (see above) if they want to establish a paper trail. At some point, Google's DMCA legal dept is bound to take action within the next few weeks, if they have truly recd and reviewed the complaints.

"I'm going to kick his ass of all sites .."
^Ha ha...I think you mis-spelt that one...did you mean "arse." You have my full sympathies.

  • abracadabra

Ass means arse instead of donkey in America (i.e. The World). Calling someone either is still rather insulting. Arse is, of course, a much more satisfying word. Especially the way the Irish say it. Arrrrss. Australians say a nasal aaahs.

    So yeah.

  • nouriguess

LMAO, Abby and David. Lol, bahaha.

I am not accepting defeat here. I'm just saying that I will do anything to stop him even if I get this and my Yahoo accounts closed. Goooosh, he picked the wrong person to be a jerk with. Grrrrrr.

    Hey guys!

Google have replied to my request on Gooftastic that I sent them last week to remove a whole bunch of the poems on his blog and I received a reply over the weekend. His blog has less poems and most of ours have been removed. There are a few left so I will send another request, one of mine is still on there and one of Tara's and silvershoes. That's all I can recognise for now!

This is a great step Liz, Way to go, hopefully we can get the whole thing shut down but my thoughts are, he can easily start a new blog somewhere else, he can create new email addresses with hotmail, yahoo and other free emails...and still access our poems, so can we ever stop him for good?
    No...

  • A lonely soul

Qn: Why would they not remove the blog of a thief. How does it prevent him from not stealing again and again. The action does very little to prevent him to pursue his trade in future, i.e thievery. It seems Google did too little too late.

I wonder if the mods have requested the action to remove his blog and ban his IP from multiple Google sites. I also wonder if he indeed needs a blog of his own, by PnQ members, making him a celebrity, as he is not likely or inclined to stop or mend his ways otherwise, if Google does not remove his blog/ban his IP. He knows he has gotten away, and he will do it again and again.

And, I also wonder why the request from the site mods to google (Sib & Larry) was ever answered.

  • Lioness

    David I agree with you.

I already asked Google this morning the same thing. How we can get him removed from blogspot all together. I am waiting for a reply.

I will let you know if I hear anything. I did tell them that he was a repeated infringer so it says on their website something about that. Hopefully they will do what is right. I also asked how we could make an official complaint - not just asking them to remove our copyrighted work

  • Daisy if you do

Well the link that I left up there ^^^ in response to Maple Tree, it says that there is actually a way to go about cutting off his life line, I will check it out and give you a more detailed report of what I find.

  • Daisy if you do

This is quoted from www.plagiarismtoday.com 's web site.

    "Search Engine Warfare
According to NetMarketshare, Google, Yahoo and Bing combined equal well over 90% of the world's search engine traffic. They are all also American companies bound by the DMCA and will both accept and act on notices filed with them.

Since search engines are the lifeblood of new traffic for most Web sites, being removed from them can be catastrophic, especially for a business. However, that's precisely within your power as a copyright holder.

It is possible to get the infringing pages removed from the search engines and, in cases where many notices have been filed, the entire site may be banned. Though Yahoo, from what I've been told, will not notify the infringing site, Google does and even posts copies of the DMCA notice on chillingeffects.com.

If a infringer doesn't respond to a legal threat nor their host to a takedown notice, the plagiarist is very likely to take notice when you threaten to cut off their lifeline of new visitors. Even if the site isn't a business, the goal is usually still to gain traffic and that's nearly impossible when the major search engines refuse to carry you in their databases.

Furthermore, it adds teeth to any threats that you make and gives a whole new level of credibility to your standing. Many people who are willing to brush aside threats will back down immediately when real harm comes to them. To them, it's not worth it for a piece they didn't create"
