I lock myself up in my room, and pretend I'm jessie J
and I don't care how bad it sounds.. I just sing at the top of my lungs..like a fearless bastard..

I record myself...and then listen to it.. and make fun of myself...and then proceed to accept that I can just be a writer and not a singer.. xoxo

I put on my running shoes and start jogging. For me there is no better way to spend lonely moments:)

When I'm alone I put on music and create some art!

When I am alone, I dress up like a ballerina and pretend to walk on my tiptoes like my sister, (ughhh I envy herrr)
I steal her shoes and dress then take a photo or two and relish them

or I pamper myself with a hot shower, candles, music, and do my hair, nails and drink hot cocoa with marshmallows while watching tv.

When I'm by myself...

I pour myself a glass (or two or three) of wine, sit in a chair by my computer and practice guitar. Or I clean.
I like cleaning when I have the apartment to myself, otherwise I know my housemate will feel the overwhelming sense of guilt that she should be helping - really, she'd just be getting in my way :)

I also like going for walks, doing chores in general, or watching endless episodes of whatever show I've been obsessed with (recently Desperate Housewives).

Oh, and sometimes I light incense and bust out my yoga mat.

ugh, I enjoy cleaning when I'm alone tooo.... its just the best.. with some Adele and some Jessie J it actually relaxes me A LOT. baaahahah.

When I'm by myself, I like to light some incense, find a nice book to read, and make myself some coffee or the endless amounts of tea I buy.

That or I listen to music obnoxiously loud and sing along.

I'm never by myself!!! No joke! Maybe once a month I try to spend time popping in movies, doing some laundry and relaxing, but thats literally once a month.. I'm with people every day of the week, and if I don't have plans I am working til close (9 p.m)....

When I have nothing better to do, I go on to PnQ pasteurs, to enjoy thoughts and read personna's, and how life/people has/have treated them (good or bad). So, when I comment, I may make some happy (and some not so happy,...always unintentional), that is where I find my solace these days.

I think I fiind it somehow better than drowning oneself in Vitamin A (1,2 or 3), sweet or bitter. But, what do I know, I am a lifelong teetotaler.

set an couple of ice cubes on the edge of Your kitchen counter.
Go across to your breakfast room table and sit.
while it melts DO NOT clean it up. Let it entirely melt, dripping everywhere, then & only then clean up.

I was lying, lol. When I am alone, I study. It is not sexy to say that you are, so I don't usually talk about it much. At this moment I am studying for my specialization. I want to start treating overweight children. Over 50% of the children in Holland are overweight, some are seriously obese and already have diabetes type 2, the type that once was reserved for old people only.

I am the cook in this household.

90% of what I cook is ravenously devoured by wife & kids. (A friend of my son came in the house one time & said "I smell Chamberlin food!")

There are concoctions they will not eat, such as Haggis, which are still delicious, but I make them for my own consumption.

Have you tried this Irish ice-cream recipe: Take your raspberry nymph drink (or your favorite alcohol), pour it on your favorite icecream (>33% w/v) and no additives/stabilizers like gelatin, wait 15 minutes and then use a spoon (no you cannot use a straw or sip it) to eat the icecream. You can put it in the freezer too if you like. Let me know, what it tastes like!

When I'm alone I walk around my flat in my cow pattern onesie, Jedi bathroom and a cup of Earl Grey tea interviewing myself as if I was someone famous. I give good interviews I think, and it sometimes helps me sort out problems or externalize old events.

I wanna give a big Hi5 to Larry Chamberlin, as I too cook things that only I would ever eat when I'm alone, to loud music. Mostly sandwich combinations that probably have their own periodic table entry. Other times meals that look like they came out of a can of dog food, but by jove they taste good.

Kevin, you remind me of Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory and I kind of giggle about it everytime I see you post something that sounds like him lol.
