Who here actually craves to eat ice cubes? Who said ice is an aphrodisiac? It's the behaviour of ice-chewing, not ice, that is supposedly associated with sex. I don't see much merit to this argument in any case.

Licking unburnt matches, however, is another story.

Sibs, I have never stepped on an ice-coated puddle. I've never wanted to. Now I do.

^^^^Jane, don't be so sure! You just said (23 posts above) you love many of these. Women at this age (15-25) are commonly Fe deficient bec some have excess loss in MC.

^Yes, sitting next to an ice bucket, many of us have had a temptation to put it in the mouth...perfectly normal, I often did that as a kid, to the annoyance of my parents.

Re: "..a thin sheet of ice over a puddle in the street, and you get to step on it? That's the best."
Aha..I would say, someone else first,... just so that I may have a little chance to enjoy the ice in my mouth, ha ha :)

If there's one thing I would guess about Abby, it's that she's not anemic. She's iron-blooded for sure! I actually heard that she once made a dirk forged purely out of iron extracted from her blood. It was brittle, of course, but that was only her first try, and it's still pretty badass.

You're going to eat the ice that someone else just stepped on?
I think pica doesn't perfectly describe that one.

^Ha! Where did I say that the ice in my mouth is from that puddle? It is from the ice bucket, which Sibs handed out today to all of us. I was just enjoying the ice cubes, for want of better things to do, before I dodge the pitch fork loaded with poison from downunder!
Yes, but if someone decided to eat that sheet of ice in front of Sibs house, that would definitely be PICA by definition (i.e something not natural to eat)!

I don't think that's a pitchfork you're dodging. Your Freudian revelation means you worship the ice she walks on.

    .

    HUH?

Anyway. I'm trying to think of noncontextual, isolated sounds I don't like. I can only think of nails on blackboard. I once heard that, apparently, that sound is almost an exact mimicry of some ancient baboon that used to be our predator in the times we were all swingers.

And I'm not anemic, though my knees go weak for Sibs.

Ancient baboons are closer than you realize.
Mimicry is a talent I have always had, as a
Lesbian of course, quite different from the
Homo Sapiens humping over each other ,
just to get a banana peeled.
