Poe

Edgar Allan Poe is one of my favorite authors. His work is Gothic and I think that is probably the best form. The way they incorporate all of the dark, grotesque things into it just makes it a lot better. I know a lot about Poe... some people think he died of rabies... anyway, read his "The Black Cat" and tell me what ya think :)

I also like his works.My favourite is The raven.
But I read The Black Cat also...It was great too...
Have you read The Fall of the House of Usher?

He hasn't a good and long life:(
I read that he learnt to counting in the cemetery...
And he died when he was on trip,he lost and
some people gave him wine for his votes...
And they gave him too much.And he died in alcohol poisoning...

The Raven is a fantastic piece but a little overrated so I try to read the stuff that isnt given that much attention.

Yeah he had a terrible life....
A lot of death and sadness
Some scientist think he died of rabies.
It would explain his eratic behavior before his death...
Just a theory they have.
I studied him in school for a bit this year.
I've always been a fan of gothic lit and he is a fantastic writer
