Memorial Day

As I sit here today and reflect upon my family, those who have served and those who are serving today, I am blessed and grateful that I live in a nation where there is freedom, even though that freedom has come with a huge price and has never been free.

I want to take a moment and thank ALL the men and women who serve in the military. It is a huge sacrifice that is paid to join the service and fight for your country.

Many people do not realize that when a person enlist their family also enlist as well. We may not go to bootcamp or war, but we join a whole new rank emotionally and evolve into a whole new outfit that only other military families can understand.

It is clearly survivial mode at times, both for the soldier and thier loved ones. We all get anxious and we all pray for our soldier to call home just to say hi and love you.

From my heart to EVERY soldier and thier family, past and present, thank you! May God bless you and keep you safe.

With all sincerity, we salute all the one's who did not come home, for without your sacrifices, we would not be enjoying the freedom in which we live in today. Thanks for putting up the remembrance thread.
