A tool against PLAGERISERS....

Hi guys,

I posted this in my club but i thought it could / might help so thought id post it here :-)

Of late some of us at PnQ have have had poems which have been Plagerised. I know we all share the same feelings about this and so below is something which we can use if we find out that this has happened.

Below is a letter come e-mail which you can copy and paste, fill in the blanks and send to the moderators of said site.

Obviously chop, change, add and delete as you see fit. Just think of it as somewhere to start in getting some results and getting the stolen poems removed.

I have heard great things about this website so you can imagine my shock when reading some poems from a writer here who has stolen work from myself/a writer i know. It saddens me to see this on a respectable site, and i am deeply upset that my / my friends words and emotions have be stolen by someone and used as this persons own words, the so called poets name is PLAGERISERS NAME , i can see that she / he is young but that is still no excuse, i hate to think of how many other poets this PLAGERISERS NAME has ripped off and how many poets on this site been fooled by this person.

This only damages poetry and will only damage your site if she/he is allowed to continue this blatant disregard for the art of writing.

I trust you will deal with this appropriately. I know my friends writing well, this PLAGERISERS NAME has taken around X AMOUNT poems that i can identify the titles are as follows............. - these are only some....there are many more poems in PLAGERISERS NAME list that ARE NOT HERS/HIS, they have been stolen from the Poems and Quotes website, and i am familiar with many of them, all these poems are digitally date stamped on Poems and Quotes which will prove when they have been written - long before this PLAGERISERS NAME has posted them on your website.

I strongly recommend you remove these poems and her /his profile from your site, this simply is not right.
