Can I ask...

..in my 4 month absence there seems to be a new trend with the comments going on which didn't happen, to my knowledge before? When I leave a comment...I've noticed that the author will reply on their own poem with a reply??? Normally (I though) you might acknowledge this with an explanation (if required) or a thank you pm or...nothing? Now...it seems you answer with another comment..???? eg...20 comments...half made by the author.

Janis responded to member requests to allow replies to comments. Even if several others have intervened, you can respond & your response will appear directly below that comment and slightly indented.

Can I ask for an example please..just to update myself?

Thanks for that Larry. A lot of the comments I've read of late don't have the indentation when the author replies so....is there a special way of doing that? Anyway, I was just having a vent...sorry. Just got a little annoyed yesterday when I saw some poems with a lot of comments and assumed they must be worth a read then found that they were just conversations going on.
