So why....

Unless I'm mistaken, I thought you couldn't (shouldn't) message people asking them to read your poems. If that's the case then why am I bombarded with request to do so? One or two if fine, but after getting 14 or so said requests since I've returned to the site is clearly absurd. I thought there was a whole thread made just to service those requests. So if people don't read your poems because they don't go to the thread etc., please don't start pming people asking them to read and rate. Its not like its a contest people.

did you consider reporting those pms ?

New members don't always read the rules. If you get those, report them to the mods and the mods will let them know its against the rules and direct them to the right spot.

Some I have. Others, having seen them to be new accounts, referred them to the thread and asked them not to pm such requests again. And others I have taken both recourses. And yet I fear it will still happen with newbies and vets alike. I don't not wish to be the guy who reports everyone.

If you don't report, it won't stop. They won't get penalized. Vets should know the rules. I report everytime I get one and let them know the right thread. Just a part of the site.

It is, just seems worse then before.

Believe me, you will not be "the guy" who reports. We get these requests reported from several members.

Please do report the requests & the site will be improved.
