If you had only one question

If you are allowed to ask one and only one question for 5 members who ought to either answer with full honesty or not answer at all.

Who are those 5 people ? and what are your questions.
Feel free to pm the link of this thread to whoever you'd like to get an answer from.

    I will start :

    Nicko/Hellon/Larry/Jane/Tara Kay

1)Nicko; do you consider your political views and beliefs as truly credible and well justified with a deep insight from different well trusted historical sources ?

2)Hellon; do you consider yourself over protective with your real identity over the internet ?

3)Larry; you seem to be one of the very few most mature human beings not just as a man, that I have ever met, let us say most stable sane one as well; is there a sad side of this Larry that we fail to see, or have you really managed or reached a point where you found an inner peace with your ownself and life ?

4)Jane; do you think that there is tension between me and you that has not been set off yet ? Due to an X past issue, or whatever other reason, or perhaps a lack of clear communication between us? or just none at all.

5)Tara Kay, what would be considered as a turning point in your life ?

    --------------
    Answer, or just don't answer.
In both cases feel free to leave your own questions, for me, him, her, whoever, or ...none XD <3

    Wow.

OK, maturity and sanity? Perhaps. But only because of the many errors for which I still atone, including those I make on a daily basis.
My failures bring sadness regularly. My impatience with Jessica, injustices towards Rosaura, These two don't deserve the way I treat them.

As for my professional life, after decades of litigation, I still cannot sleep the night before a trial. Anxiety at the possibility of harming my client eats at my guts.

Spiritually, I have spent nearly 50 years seeking to rekindle hope I threw away as a pre-teen.

Be careful what you ask the truth may be ugly.

Someone ask me something. Yay, I like such stuff.

I would ask just Britt for now... Why Jason? Haha. ;)

  • Sunshine

Wow Larry...you are a very interesting humanbeing again lol...naa I think truth makes things more real, more beautiful, it hurts when we are unaware of it's existence only.

thanks for your really honest reply...appreciated, love you more now XD

  • Britt

Lol why Jason? Because he's pretty much the best ever. He is sweet as pie, a manly man, rugged and handsome :) He lets me be me, understands that I'm a crazy, hormonal woman and is patient with my mood swings. He is an adult (mature) and doesn't fight with me, but sits and talks. We laugh, and laugh, and laugh together all the time. He is an honest, loyal man who believes in doing the right thing. We share the same morals and values, political and religious beliefs, as well as how we want to raise our kids someday. He lets me think I've got him wrapped around my finger, but we all know he's the man of the house (thats a good thing to me lol). He'll stand up for the underdog, is giving and loving and just a really, really genuine man.

    Ah, I love him. :)

Briitt, that is really awesome you know, you are such a great successful couple, you've been with Jason ever since I can remember...and now you are married, you give me such a great hope and a really better understanding of love. Wish you all the luck and best..

GIrL (Meme), Nana (Ms SunShine), and Sara (PinkyPrincess), each the same question:

Why have you never posted a picture of yourself? Never here & never on facebook. Are you afraid of what your people may think if you show your face in public, worried about reprisals? OR WORSE, are you afraid we would love you less?

  • Sunshine

Sadly, you did not get to see my picture :P infact I did upload pics of me before over here, and I remember The Princess asking whether she was the only one who can see the resemblance between me and Jane, but we disagreed hehe :P

as for facebook I had an album before with some pictures but that was long ago, I deactivated many accounts like 3...ya it's dramatic lol, I never took facebook seriously and hence I honestly use it for communication and entertainment only, and that is after signing up for the latest one, but still my pic was uploaded few months back...

I do have privacy concerns regarding facebook on a side note, I do not trust it, and don't really find any need to upload pictures of myself since my friends know how I look like. But as I mentioned...I did have pics.. you missed it :P lol others might remember I guess XD

Despite that Abed said my eyes are beautiful so naa I wouldn't be afraid of anyone else's reaction :P I'm too cute honestly :p

Thanks for pming me the link Nana...guess you wanted to make sure I saw this question.

I'm not really sure what you mean by 'real identity'? It's not like I take on a different persona when I'm on here....what you see on here is what I'm like face to face...no frills.

    Mrs. Sunshine,
Then would it be fair to say that you were been stalked by people too much? :P

  • Sunshine

Hellon, no I'm sorry I did not mean that lol, I did not mean you have different personalities or something, I meant just like MeMe for example, you have this kind of more privacy on your personal life, your age ..picture..family bla more than the other members and myself. Not saying it's something odd, just curious if it's privacy concerns.

and hahaha oh Luc..maybe a little Lol wink wink

Age has never been something I've cared about so...don't see what my age has got to do with anything...Picture?...there was a couple of pictures of me around when I was a member of the original RTVW so....those with long memories may remember them haha!!! Family? well...I've bragged to you and anyone else who'll listen about my grandchilden so...that's not a secret either and...those who really wish to calculate my age from this fact shouldn't really have a problem fitting me into some age frame.

  • Britt

Hellon is 138 due to my calculations.

However, I've never been very good at math. ;)

Something funny regarding helleon I always thought she's 20 Max, until in one conversation she told me she's grandma, I believe she has the spirit of youth aura!

    i'd ask a couple, maybe not 5
I'd go to larry first, Tell em to give me an advice of how to go through the day and night! just 2 sentences!

and Sunshine, How did time change your personality over the few years.

I'd also ask Meme aka girl a question,
what is it that holds you back from being the most you can be, You're a person with alot of potentials and if you don't invest on enhancing your confidence, then you sadly don't know your worth :P

And hellon, I'd ask What's the one thing in your life
    that you regret!!

  • Hellon

I believe she has the spirit of youth aura!
    ^^^

Thanks Rabea....I definately don't consider myself old....it's just a number right!

There's absolutely nothing that I regret and...nothing I'd change...I've very happy with who I am.

  • Sunshine

And Sunshine, How did time change your personality over the few years.

    ^

oh man...big big big time, I could write books about it, and then some more...books, no bragging no exaggeration.
But my life has been full of events, like really jammed with events since I was veryyyyyyyyy young, I am only 21 but sometimes when I think back it feels like I have been living for 40 years.

Shortly, who I am today, is much better than who I thought I would be years back.
The one thing that never changed, is that I never used my own sorrow or tragedies
as a source of attention. I seldom shared any of the misfortunes I faced until something brought some of it up.
I was never the drama type girl, and still ain't.

Time made out of me a much happier person, infact I admit that I now have much more confidence in myself and in others, well much more than I did 7 years back.

The death of my father changed the whole equation of how this family of mine will function, and that's how time played its role effectively, it definitely made me a more mature person, though still have my childish acts and immature moments.

People say that time takes from us, but personally time not only has changed who I was, but also granted me things I never know existed. Hope my reply answered your question

I'm enjoying this thread, Nana. What a lovely idea. I will think of some questions and post them shortly, for now I just wanted to respond to some of your answers.

Larry, I enjoyed reading your response. You always seem like such a cool calm and collected man; it was nice to see another side of you even if it is one you'd consider to be less appealing.

Hellon, I've never thought of you as protective of your identity nor have I ever thought about your age to be honest. I've had some of the best conversations with you and your love for your grandchildren always shines through.

Nana, your response was insightful, you and I have had quite a few conversations in the past and the one thing I've always noticed is the fact that you don't dwell on your sorrow and that's something I admire.

Britt, You, Jason and Moose are the perfect little family :)

"larry first, Tell em to give me an advice of how to go through the day and night! just 2 sentences!"

    1) Constantly ask yourself "what needs to be done next?"

    2) Understand that grief, like pain, is merely a signal of something wrong in your life, so that once you're aware of it, you hinder the healing process by focusing on it.

    3) Reward yourself regularly.

    Hey Nana,

    Maybe...
To be honest, I haven't thought about it until now. If you feel a tension, that means there is one, though believe me - I have nothing but good feelings for you. I do think we're very different people, and maybe we don't *click* as well as we might. I bare responsibility for that in part since I made a presumption about you in the past that turned out to be unjustified. I'm still not sure how you found out since I told at most 2 friends, but it was for the best since you were able to clear everything up for me/us :)
    Does that answer your question?

Do you know, I don't know why I never saw this thread before...
    and Nana, You're question...

"I think for me, a turning point would be just a day when I could actually and honestly say that nothing upset me, nothing got to me, a day that I didn't have to force a smile" I am still waiting

  • silvershoes

And for you Nana: Why do you think there is a tension between us? How do I make you feel that way?

  • Sunshine

Janey; well I actually asked you that question because it appears that we always or (most of the times) to be honest disagree on things via pms, even if it was site related stuff, however disagreeing is normal, but I really feel it heats up or did heat up in the last period of time, you may have noticed or not. But I have noticed because it doesn't happen with me usually...if you know what I mean.

so I was curious if you still have some tension inside you or if it was just a coincidence.

  • silvershoes

I apologize if I'm a jerk here, but what did we disagree on that heated up? I don't recall it, probably because things usually do heat up for me during disagreements. It's nothing personal. I get riled and excited easily. Call it passionate.
Yes, we do seem to disagree sometimes, but I attribute that to being dissimilar people, not enemies.

Anyone who calls me "friend" on PnQ has probably suffered a few of my annoying disagreements and arguments.

  • Nicko

Nicko; do you consider your political views and beliefs as truly credible and well justified with a deep insight from different well trusted historical sources?

To ask such a question I take it you think they are not?

I'm definitely not one to just go with the flow, if I disagree I will say so, those on this site that know me, know that as well lol. I guess to some I come across as overly aggressive, though in reality I'm not, as in I don't instigate... how credible are my political views and beliefs...

Common sense and logic have played a major role in how I view things. For instance religion, there is not one iota of commonsense or logic involved. God created the earth etc in 6 - 7 days some 6000 odd years ago according to the bible, when we know that dinosaurs were around millions of years before that. To me that's akin to some Sci- fi movie, where ping it exists. This may not be a good example, but it's what came to mind, but enough on that..

In the course of our lives we all read much, some sticks some doesn't, I weigh up all that I read and try to discern what is crap and what isn't, recently I was accused of getting my info off the BBC or CNN, maybe there's others think the same, or Wiki. Yes I watch the news read the papers but take it most of it with a grain of salt. I consider myself reasonably well read. When researching ancient history we are asked to reference the ancient resources, these have been given credence by scholars over the centuries. But how accurate are these resources many are secondary, written after the fact? some hearsay, yet we are marked against these resources and pass or fail on how accurate we are..

So at the end of the day it's all in the eye of the beholder. I have travelled much, seen a lot of things maybe others haven't but that can mean didly squat. You can take my opinion on board and say yes that makes sense or chuck it down the dunny.... as being crap...

Its up to the individual, and thats what being human is all about...

  • Sunshine

Thank you nicko :) and if it was true that I think not, then I would have not asked, I did not ask to accuse but rather I asked the 5 questions to get an answer.

I asked to clear things at my end regarding how you come up with certain view of points and supporting details, and you answered me. Moreover because you DO elaborate a lot when it's politically related debate, that got me more interested to know where do you get your back ground from; you replied...and it is appreciated :)

As for you Jane, well an example not from long ago, it would be weird if you haven't noticed the sarcastic tone we used while throwing the responsibility on one another regarding who is responsible for the issues that happened regarding the weekly contest XD. If that's the way you usually talk then O.O be it lol but I doubt...I believe things did heat up, and I repeat the reason I brought this question up is because it doesn't normally happen with me.

  • silvershoes

Ok, I remember that. I thought you were getting a bit accusatory with me, but maybe that's how I was coming off to you too. Probably a misunderstanding caused by our mutual frustration with the contest at the time. I wouldn't chalk it up to much other than that.
