Congratulations for the 3 winners! Amazing poems everyone, well done for the HM's.
A huge big fat thank you for the judges this week, you know why XD.
These are the votes and comments from 3 judges,
as to why 3 ? and before anyone wonders, one has stepped down due to urgent updates in their personal life, and one is obliged to be absent for these 2 weeks. And as you all know by now, it was agreed that 3 judges are fine, no subs unless we go under that number.
Well done again guys, keep writing.

His Portrait
by Xanth
I loved that this was a poetical vent. Sometimes vents are filled with curse words or are a jumbled mess, this, you could tell was real feeling. Real raw emotions with a beautiful poetic touch on it that I loved. I mostly loved your ending, because readers wait and read a whole poem wanting to reach an answer, however you couldnt give us one, because you were never told why either. I loved that! I loved this image of the attic and white sheets covering old stuff.. Really beautiful "vent" I should say.

In Your Eyes
by Rabea
Heartfelt and very powerful. Not only is the subject matter terribly sad due to our connection to Noura, but it is accessible on a global scale, too.
On top of all of this, its rhythm and rhyme scheme are well thought out. This poem is fantastic!

Art In Life
by mandy
Mandy!!!!! I love your creative angle with this poem- Your title says it all. The way you worded this metaphoric life and sad piece, had me hooked.
"I would love to paint your life
then keep the picture in my pocket
so I'd always know something good
and remember the beauty of this world"
I could visualize you capturing the emotions and expressions, splashing it onto canvas... Standing alone and placing it in your pocket. To me, when a reader can visualize your creative writing in such a way, well it's a darn good piece in my opinion! Well Done Mandy

Rota Fortunae
by Senyru
After reading this piece, I feel as though I've been reading something like film noir. This is one of those nice narrative pieces that has just enough creative voice to make it feel more like a poem and less like prose while still telling a story in fairly vivid detail. I think it takes skill to pull that off. Great work.

Burning Pages Of Death
by Tara Kay
This piece had me bawling like a baby at the end. Tara Kay has a way of gripping the readers heart, and within this piece, she did that and so much more.
Feeling dead inside- Is enough to make a poem explode, and within this piece, she has displayed her sorrow and frustration- and created a heartfelt and elegant, sad poem.
The beginning lines sucked me in...and left me speechless at the end. Well Done Tara Kay

Serenading Dreams
by Colm
I absolutely loved your opening stanza because of your word usage with "graze" and "osmosis". What a way to start the poem!
Your second stanza was just about the most romantic and beautifully written stanza I have came across in a while. My heart was melted and I adored everything about this.
The ending, OMG mouth dropping. I was a little bit speechless. What a very sweet statement to make that if she can't handle your dreaming, (of giving your all to her) then you will no longer be a dreamer. This piece really made me smile and I loved the sweet tone it gives off.

Kiss of Nature
by Maple tree
If anyone knows how to write a nature piece its Maple tree. Your word choice was incredible in this piece. If I were to point out the metaphors I loved in this poem I would copy and paste the entire poem. I just loved, "leaves of grace", "Dangling webbed whispers", "cascading rainbow enchants". They really just made this simple nature poem a breathtaking one. Great descriptions!

Mesonoxian Daydreams
by Xanthe
I voted for this last week. After a week I still find it to be a strong piece. Enough said.

Ishtar (Acrostic)
by Ingrid
This poem is not only breathtaking, but it's a very well written acrostic. The rhyming is beautiful..
The Goddess Ishtar has come to life within this poem.
I have a personal adoration for this goddess and Ingrid did a beautiful word display of capturing her essence within this piece.. Wonderful poem!! Well Done Ingrid
