A question for everyone

What was your first poem uploaded here on p and q?

How old were you at the time? What or who was it written about? What do you think when you read it now?

I want to know everyones thoughts....

I actually deleted all the old poems, and lost them too. The 1st one I uploaded here after deleting the other ones is " All about Love "

wrote it about love lol, describing it and such.
I still love it a lot.

The first poem posted on PnQ was about my Grandpa, shortly after he'd passed away. My first "loss" in my family, and it was a big one.

I was 15 when I wrote the poem, but 17 when I joined the site and posted. I deleted that account, it shows I've been around since '11, but I've had an account and been active here since '05.

Like Britt, I have been here longer than what my profile says. I had a previous account that was registered in 2006 and as I deleted it I also lost my first poem ever posted.

I was 14 going on 15. I'm not sure if my first poem posted was a sappy loss of friendship or a youngster love poem but both were about two very close friends of mine at the time.

I remember the first poem I posted to PnQ. I deleted it years ago, wouldn't let you guys see it even if I had it. TERRIBLE.

Looks like I'm the odd one here, but I've had the same profile the whole time I've been here, and my first poem is still up. Ha, you can check it out yourselves, if you dare. I've deleted very very very few of my poems of the years - only one or two that I can think of.

My first poem on here was written in my mid teens, when i was in a very depressed state of mind, it was written about a razorblade.

I started writing poetry 8 months ago, did not write any poetry before that but I guess there's a first for everything lol

You do intend to make a lot of progression from your fist poem to your recent one as you write in different structure's and simplify the moral of your poem so its more direct. It also helps when people comment and make suggestions as where/what you need to improve your poem in certain stanza's

My 1st poem on here was in 2009, called 'A Toxic Dawn' .... and because I sent 22423423 PMs to members asking for comments, I was kicked out from the site. Then I came here in 2011 and started posting again.
