help, please

on friday i was sexually abused and nearly raped, and i i rang a number i thought was just some place u can just talk but it was social services and he called the police and they came and they got it out of me and now my mom knows and they all want me to make a statement and take it to court, but i hear all the time how stuff like this just comes down my word against his, and i am so tired and broken, i dont have the energy to. my mom keeps saying, what if he does it to someone else, or has al;ready done it to someone esle and keeps doing it|? but im just so tired and i don't know if it will be worth it. i dont know what to do , i just want to pretend it never happened but with the police involved i cant, and god i dont know what to do. help, please

Hey, my mom was sexually abused and raped (more than once) But they never caught the guy(s). :-( My advice is to go through with it. We don't need people like that on the streets. I know its hard and it hurts. But once you let it all out and he get put in jail or w/e You'll feel alot better and have a better chance of recuperating in the future.
