Like last night, for instance, I was so ready for this huge fishin' date at the catfish farm, and I was just cast aside like a worn out lure!

I'd rented a nice little boat, bought her a new rod and everything! Sat on that lake for hours, and it was one cold night. But she's run off after getting my hopes up, like that big fish did with my favorite bait.

Nevi I apologize...I drove to the country to buy us really new, fancy fishing poles. While there, I got a flat tire...since I was in the country I got bad reception. No calls were going out and still aren't!

Well thank goodness you're all right! I got so lonesome for you I started writing a country song, it'l titled "Chelsey", and then I caught me a catfish, named him Chelsey too. But now that I know where to find you, I'll be right over, in my big Chevy truck

Maybe, but how do you know? Nevi can't tell either...very difficult to tell a catfish's gender. Maybe it is a hermaphrodite, or one which can reverse gender...like salmon, crown fish, or maybe it has no gender at all! Some (fish) are smart (opportunistic), they change gender when they meet the opposite sex, depending on whether they feel attracted to him/her. Maybe that is what happened at the date, he din't realize that it was a trans... or a "he' crossdressed. So, Heshe panicked, and gave him the slip.
Nevi, next time, go to the movies first. Then write her a nice poem, give a nice flower bouquet, maybe write her a poem, play a guitar and then play innocent/hard to catch....may work better.
