If someone has any info about those questions, please share them with me. I kind of need the answers for a story I am writing. And of course, it should be logical to be plausible, that's why I need some answers: (I searched Wikipedia, but I got lost :p)

1- Are all Israeli citizens Jews?
2- Should Israeli military forces/police be only consisted of Jews?
3- Can a Jewish woman marry a non-Jewish? and vice versa?

    Pleaseeee.. and Thanks :)

If you go to this wikipedia page and scroll down, there is a breakdown of religions. It looks to be about 75% Jewish, 16% Muslim, with small percentages of Christian and Other.

2 - no i dont think say i was born there and i suppose technically im christian, i should have the right to fight for my country regardless of my religion.

3 - yes they can marry non jews, perhaps no in a jewish ceremony, but if the couple have children the they would be considered jewish as apparently it comes form the mothers side.

    1. Not all people in Israeli are Jews
    - '7,933,200 people in Israeli'
    - '5,978,600 are Jewish, 75.4%'
    - 'Arabs are the second largest population in Israeli with 1,636,600 people, 20.6%'
    - 'Christians and others make up the other 318,000 4%'

    2. I'm not sure if it does as I have not recited were it doesn't say other religions can't be but I'm guessing it couldn't. BUT I could be wrong because the Israeli Government Knesset does contain 12 members of Arab Citizens.

    3. I think this is very much similar to Islam, in contrast to if a women wants to marry a non-jewish/muslim man then he would have to convert to her religion and vice versa as well.

Perhaps in the very strict communities, but for the most part not as far as i am aware, but i only comment on what i have seen with my own eyes i am no expert or anything, it comes down to whether they are allowed to stay ACTIVE in the religion or not once married......this i am not sure.

A more informative page on qn #3 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interfaith_marriage_in_Judaism
    Some interesting excerpts from above:
US National Jewish Population Survey 2000-01 reports that, in the United States of America between 1996 and 2001, nearly half (47%) of Jews (very similar to American Muslims) who had married during that time period had married non-Jewish partners. Intermarriage and older age to get married has caused some concern in the Jewish community as the numbers are on the decline; for every 20 adult Jews, there are now only 17 Jewish children - some call it a silent holocast. Further credence to the fact that America is the big "melting pot", for any faith.
Interestingly, unlike Reform Judaism (Reform, reconstructionist and Liberal), the Orthodox and Conservative streams of Judaism do not accept as Jewish a person whose mother is not Jewish, nor a convert whose conversion was not performed according to classical Jewish law. So I guess it matters which stream of Judaism you belong to, modern or archaic.
Many Israeli Jews oppose mixed relationships, particularly relationships between Jewish women and non-Jewish Arab men. A 2007 opinion survey found that more than half of Israeli Jews believed intermarriage is equivalent to "national treason". In February 2010 Tel Aviv municipality had instituted an official, government-sponsored counseling program to discourage Jewish girls from dating and marrying Arab boys. :( Too bad! Some of them may have succeeded in raising joint faith families in Israel.
    --------------------------
Just a minor note of importance: Current Arab members of Knesset - 17, past - 49

"A Jewish man can be married to a non jewish woman and she wouldnt have to convert?"

Well it wouldn't affect the children initially anyway. Obviously we can choose our religion or whatnot, but I'm pretty sure true Jewish faith is passed through the mother's side, no?

Yes, I think it's of maternal lineage.
