My aunt once posted a link on facebook and TOTALLY freaked out about it... it was from the onion... lol.

LMAO. Someone shared that on facebook, and I laughed so much.

    She is joking, then? :P

  • Britt

You obviously didn't read the link I posted... lol. It was a fake interview. She never even said it.

LOL, there is a comment by a reader underneath:

    Jim Olson:
I honestly cannot tell if this is satire or serious.

Jessie Webb: (a reply to the above)
I thought the same thing! I was like, "She really didn't say that, did she?" I wonder if she has a problem with nachos, because, you know, that's the gateway food to tacos, and from there, you join a drug cartel. lol

  • Max

Thanks for the link to the real words Britt but still I can't stop laughing at
"We need to stop these terror cakes now"
    omg this was hilarious LOL

  • Decayed

    I skimmed through it HAHAHAHA.

I didn't believe this at first, but as I went on, it seemed serious :P

  • Britt

LP I read that comment too, I was waiting for someone else to ask that this can't be real. I was cracking up as I read it, it's one of those "this CAN'T be real" moments.

The taco/drug cartel had me cracking up too, thats dang funny!

Bachmann has said some... interesting... things, but this is just, no. lol

  • Max

    Lmao
yeah the taco/drug comment I just noticed it haha
Omg people take sarcizm to new rates lol

Britt what you mean by interesting??

  • Britt

Interesting as in, while I agree with some of her stuff politically, she really should know when it's smart to just, not say anything at all.

  • Decayed

Lol. I think I will make a twitter account to follow her. She made my night :P

  • Max

    Yeah I got you
but don't you think all politicians need to learn this skill??

  • Britt

Oh, most definitely, and I wish they would tonight for sure (tonight is the first presidential debate).

"Lol. I think I will make a twitter account to follow her. She made my night :P"

LP you do know she didn't say this, even in jest? lol

  • Max

  • Decayed

Lol, yes yes... I just think she's good looking and smart... but I can't figure out why they made this joke about her saying such stuff :P

  • Max

LP all politicians talk too much maybe she said something crazy one time by mistake and they started sarcasm about her since that time but Britt knows more for sure

  • Britt

I plan to watch it but probably only for 10 minutes before I get too pissed lol. I know who I'm voting for, I don't need a debate to figure it out.

Um LP you definitely wouldn't like her. She's a very, very hardcore Christian Conservative, I'm sure people would say she's an extremist on that side.

  • Britt

Our vice President, Joe Biden, was criticizing republicans and said something about not knowing why they would hike taxes on the middle class (not true) when they've been buried for the last four years.

Uh, the last four years was your reign, dummy, bahahahaha. I love when politicians say stupid things. It's great comic relief.

  • Decayed

Ah, lol, that's why then they stuffed a jest in her mouth :p

  • Max

Well it is nice to be sure of what you doing

Britt I wouldn't agree on the judging based or religion cause our president now was said to be an extremist too and he isn't

  • Britt

Oh, no Max I'm not saying he wouldn't like her because she is Christian, that's just... the type of conservative she is. I'm know he wouldn't like her because her stance on the Middle East.

I'm afraid I'm from Bachmann's congressional district. ...Yeesh. It probably says something that people could so easily mistake an Onion article for the truth.

But I know we're fairly politically different, Brittness, so I won't drag this out : )

  • Britt

I said I only agree with some of her stuff, haha!

  • sibyllene

Ha, I know. That's what shows that you have your own mind. I'd like to see someone try to tell you what all your thoughts "should" be : D

I'm so mad, I was out to dinner and thought I had recorded the debate, but I didn't. It sounds like it was a good one.

Yeah I have my own mind but people still probably think I don't, they hear I'm conservative and pigeon hole me.

LP you should edit your original thread so people know its not real. People aren't getting it lmao

Sure, got every bit of the Bachmann impersonation humor. But, looks like only some get my humor :)

Daily currant is a daily satirical global internet newpaper. Never actually read it before, but now that LP got me interested, guess what I else I found:

They say she is 20? Looks to me only 13-14! He is only 18, so she better educate him on this stuff, if she is really 20.

I guess she is 20. Here is a funny Selena interviewing that went super viral, ...enjoy

  • Decayed

Is this another joke, the 'coming with a warning label..' part? :P

You don't love Afghanistan's food? I heard that it's delicious... from Khaled Hosseini's novels.

  • ArtistrySoul

I just want to say people in the middle east eat far better food than those in the west . . .. and they do live atleast 20 years longer as they don't eat junk food..etc

NOTE: I mean live longer without any wars, fighting in the country and just living a normal life :)

I love Chinese, Italian and Arabic food. Brazilian food is superb too! But be careful with our Feijoada - it is our traditional dish. Sensitive stomachs may suffer because it is heavy.
It is prepared with black beans, a variety of salted pork or beef products, such as pork trimmings (ears, tail, feet), bacon, smoked pork ribs, and at least two types of smoked sausage and jerk beef.
The taste is strong, moderately salty but not spicy, dominated by the flavors of black bean and meat stew.
Our "Caipirinha" is served as an aperitif.Caipirinha is not as strong as tequila and you can prepare it at home too.
