It's racist, yes, and I'm worried the color scheme is the underlying cause of PnQ's continual clash of culture and diversity. How can we respect each other if the color scheme pays zero tribute to any skin color except for a fair Caucasian with minimal tannage? |

Although, I must say I am a LITTLE intrigued by the animal avatar option, actually, the more I think about it. |

I assume, Jane, you're laughing your ass off. Really, the color scheme does not actually match ANY human on this planet any more than Homer Simpson yellow. |

Lol if that was true, then my whole farm has rottened, I've not written for a while, until today. |

Butterflies might be a bit much, I agree. This is an adult community; we don't want poets from other sites to not take us seriously. |

Of course, it's good, Abby. It's inspired by me. |

PnQ just disrespected my Sibs... that's just NOT right. |

Pink is a stereotype. No one is actually pink unless they are sunburned. |

I agree there are more pressing issues to bring to Janis's absent table... but I have to admit talking about color scheme's is a nice change of pace to talk about... |

See, this is exactly what I'm talking about. People like Sibs are letting the color scheme influence their sense of authority because it perfectly represents their rosy, Irish skin (or alternate heritage with similar tone). If this mindset can impact Sib, it can impact anyone. We could be entering an age of oppression when oppressors can't control an intrinsic feeling of superiority due to color representation. |

I don't know, I'm pretty pink... or maybe peach, with cool undertones. |

Sibs, exactly. You are superior in most ways, but the colors might be muddling your sense of self worth, and therefore your approach to PnQ as a whole. |

Hey, I'm hurt. I have commented on Abby's latest as required. She hasn't returned the favor, though. |

Because young readers who are not even members of this website might read explicit poems on our front page and get spoiled. |

Some people might claim complaining is useful in itself. |

For one thing, you're not old enough to nominate it. |

So... when some Arabs won the contest once or twice, you called the judges names. Now, we have no right to complain, ha? |

Rry, I am 17, I am independent and here in Syria, I'm allowed to drink! We don't have rules or age limits anyway because we think drinking is cool. |
