I think Obama will get 4 more years & I'm OK with that.
I have been an independent voter for 45 years, voted Democrat, Republican & third party. I think he's the best for the situation right now. I also think he's only got til April before he faces deadlock again. He'd better come out the gate heading for the inside rail and stay ahead of the pack. If so he can bring his horse home for a better win than the election. Ie: the economy.

Hmmm .... I feel like he has a lot against him tho... I feel like he's scared...

You are very wise Larry. I think Obama would have done a lot better, if the right did not want him to fail so badly. I know a lot of Republicans that were not impressed with the choices they had in the primary I have already cast my ballot though I don't claim to belong to any organized political party . If you are familiar with Will Rogers you know that means I am a democrat . Though my main man got off to a slow start in the first debate I enjoyed watching him score a TKO in the second one where even the moderator was kicking Mitt's butt. He's one "m" short of a Mormon. I think The Society of St. Vincent de Paul should sue Paul Ryan and feed the needy with the booty. Romney is going to get pay back from the folks that believe they are in the 47%. though I do not doubt this election is tighter than the noose he put around his own neck.

I'm with Bill Hicks on voting, though I would have liked the chance to see Ron Paul debate Obama and Romney. Given the choices, if I was a US citizen, I'd vote for Barack.

Romney is a hollow shell. Obama has done a good job. Not phenomenal, but good.

You can surmise who I'm voting for.

  • Britt

I doubt its any surprise I voted for Romney. I'm just glad it's all coming to a close.. I'm so sick of this election year. They all make me wanna puke.

All I want to say here is, this is my first year I'm able to vote and I'm so excited!! Woooooo hoooooo!

Romney is a flip-flopper and will say anything to win favor. However, if you look at his political history, he's a close replica of Obama. Vote for a republican copy of the administration we have, except with a slippery eel of a guy who has zero experience in office, or vote for someone who sticks to the plan, comes at face value, and has 4 years presidential experience? Hmm, tough choice.

May I ask why you voted for Romney, Britt? I'm confused why anyone would vote for him except because of A) Blind hatred for Obama, B) An unwavering commitment to the Republican party, regardless of what the actual intentions of that candidate might be, or C) An over appreciation for Romney's ability to "speak well" and "look like" a traditional American President.
Those are the only reasons I can come up with, and they're pretty dumb.

  • Britt

I'm voting for the lessor of two evils. Romney wasn't my favorite in the primaries, but I agree more with his (current?) stance than I do Obama's.

And I really just despise Obama. Not a race issue, not a party line issue. I just don't like the man and my gut tells me he isnt right. I've spent the past few years doing a lot of research on him.. and I know I'm not going to change any minds so I don't feel like debating it, but he really just scares the shit out of me.

I'm pretty conservative so naturally I will lean right over left any day.

I mean the apathy of this man is so darn obvious. So darn obvious. Like you can see it on his face how much f*cks he does not gives. The difference between him and obama is that romney thinks for the millionaires and obama for the millions. Besides obama has spent less than any president for the last 50 years. Not to mention that romney said that bringing the troops back home was "tragic" his dislike for women is obvious. And he"s an all around asshole... And that 5 point plan he keeps talking about ? 1 slide to the left 2 slide to the right 3 take back two steps 4 i dunno 5 cha cha now ya'll... That man is a joke. Seriously... All he is is pretty talk. And he has ugly lips and i don't want to kiss him ok.

I am voting for B. Obama...

Conservative I am not... have a few friends who are and I love them dearly... but I prefer a President to think outside the box...

In my opinion, One man can not change the course of destruction, it takes more than one man to change the path....

Karl Rove is still trying to cook the books but everthing has to go Romneys way to give him a 9.99% chance of being appointed by the Supreme Court
If it does not pick up for Romney he has a 0000000000000000000000000000000000.1 percent chance of winning

    Obama won...

it requires 270 electoral votes to have the winner.

( there are 538 electoral votes in total.. so half of it are 269 and one more= 270, gives the winner.. yup.)
