Computer Hacking

Today I was talking to my friend on AIM, and she reported that someone hacked into her AOL Screen name and said that he stole her pictures and other information. I told her to change her password, and she did.

He was still on her screen name, and began talking to her. He started talking about high socks? And said he was from the P&Q chat room. Now, I remember a guy that I reported in the previous past when I complained about the chat room, mentioned high socks. And wanted pictures of me and other girls in them. So I'm guessing that he hacked into her computer. And my friend showed me what he was saying to her, and he told her he was going to reformat her computer. She did not know what reformating was, so she asked me, and I told her that he was going to erase every file and program from her computer. Which is reformating. So I told her to shut down her computer right now. And she did.

Then 20 minutes later, I called her and said she should try to go on, and sign on another screen name. He hasnt bothered her yet, and her computer is still in tack and hasnt been reformated. But I don't know how to get rid of the hacker? All I know is to change the IP address, but I don't know how to do that? Any suggestions?

And by the way, last night, counting, two times, AOL Instant Messenger contacted my screen name and said that it was signed into two different locations. And I thought for a minute that someone hacked into it. And once I heard today that my friends computer was hacked, it could be that guy hacking into mine? But I don't know.

i had a simlair incidnt last week.soemoen imed me and asked if i wnated my compuetr reformated i told them umm noa nd blocked them.they then imed me from anotehr name in which i blocked.then imed me from my sn or was identical cept for the capitalizing of one leter and accused me of hackign them.i staretd laughing and was liek ya whatever they tehn sstarted posted my poesm so i figured out this person was obvuisoly some kid on here with too much time on his hands.still i was all bugged out thiking my computer files would be erased so i asked my husband and he said he can not do that as long as you dotn downlaod anything tahts sent from them or open connectio to your computer.anyways always be careful who you direct connect with. good luck
