What do you think about stealing poems? Would you?

the only way i would post anyone else's poems is if i made clear it was theirs and put the whole thing in quotes. and that would only be if i really liked a poem and i wanted to share it with the other people on the website. otherwise its plagerism when someone copies someone else's poems w/ out saying it's theirs and thats illegal, so i think think it is wrong. but if you said it was someone else's poem, im sure theyd be glad to have other people enjoy it. you just have to make sure you make it clear it's not your work. but definately i would never steal anyone's poems.

I would NEVER steal another persons poetry, mainly because I can write good stuff on my own. Why would I want to get the credit for someone elses work? I know its really not MINE, so the compliments are empty. Only if I write them will I become a better writer and know that I am a good poet.

come on now you guys if you take someones poetry is called stealling and umm forgery if you post them as your own...

i would never steal someone elses poetry! for me its letting my emotions out an its all me.

I did once before, when I first start writing, but because I was desperate, and I only used it for a funeral. I felt so guilty, and I regret it so much now. I would never do it again though. And I feel great shame towards those who do do it, and want to do it.

no i would never..i wouldnt wanna get credit for someone else's work...and i wouldnt want anyone doing it to me, so why should i do it to them..and what satisfaction do you get from stealing a poem.. nothing therefore i wouldnt do it!! :)

No I don't think you should, but I wrote one for my friend to give in as homework, thats ok, if the person don't mind. xxx

Stealing poems is stupid.
This site is for posting your own poetry and reading others.

Plagerism is incredibly selfish, and definately wrong.

Just to make it clear- I have some of my poems posted on allpoetry (under the name of Blood red tears) they are MY OWN.
