    hi. do any parents thesedays understand why kids are geti depressed. my mom lames it all on me and so does my dad & stepdad. also i et blamed for them being depressed.

    if they stopped blamin me for every thin mayb i wouldn b depressed.

    Now that self promotional time is over~

    We cant blame depression on anyone but ourselves. Firstly, our parents may be fucked up, society may be fucked up, but the people who choose to rise above it are better off for it and can guide other people. My family is the poster family for "fucked up-edness" and I turned out relatively ok, rising above all the bull shit that other teens encounter. I choose to be different and have a different response to everything because I refuse to play victim and give other people that much power over my life to be "depressed," lonely, sure, but not depressed.

    Even when terrible stuff happens, rape, the death of a family member, a break up, etc. you are still the only one who suffers by being the victim. The sooner you can bring yourself up and stop pitying yourself for your hardships the sooner you can be happy and successful.
