"Venezuela begins seven days of mourning following death of Hugo Chavez, the president."

My condolences to Venezuela people.. for this great loss.

In our modern days, I can never find someone like him... he is a true leader, imo... born to be from the people & to the people... & never above them!
I mean, who else kisses his people's hands?

his last words were...: "I don't feel like a President, being President is a mere circumstance. I'm fulfilling a role as many fulfill a role in any team. I'm only fulfilling a role, but I'm a peasant, I'm a soldier, I'm a man committed to this project of an alternative world which is better and possible, necessary to save the Earth. I am one. "

I really wish my Lebanese leaders were a tad bit like him... he was truly unique.

May he rest in peace..I hope they will find out one day if he was right in suspecting he didn't get cancer by accident.

Copied your avatar in respect of this leader, hope you don't mind, Abed?

^ I didn't read deep into this issue, but I had some suspects really ... so you, too, think his cancer was induced by external factors with hidden agendas?

    Thanks Abed:)

Hugo talked about it several times in the media, that he didn't get the cancer by natural causes..he had mighty enemies and he was loved deeply by his own people. He was a force to be reckoned with... so who knows?

Sad to see him go and I definitely would not rule out foul play when it comes to his illness, I think we are all well aware what happens to leaders and countries that go against the grain. He was a man of the people and our governments today are not about the people. He will be missed.

He was the most likable leader I have witnessed in my lifetime, next to Fidel Castro.

When will the world wake up? When will we see through the manipulation of our media?

When, hopefully, your second question is answered, the first will automatically be answered, too.
