THE UNSPOKEN TALES - Welcome to Round 2 titled
    FROM COAST TO COAST
    - - - - -

Quote: "When you can't change the direction of the wind - adjust your sails." ~ H. Jackson Brown Jr.

Like last time, there will be two prompts, the quote and a photo you choose. Use both prompts to inspire and give you perspective.

The last round focused on inspiration and seeing the dream others have through their eyes. This round focuses on nostalgia. Many times we think of traveling to somewhere new an adventure, and it can certainly well be. But what about the horror of it? It can be something so beautiful that hurts us the most... What is really revealed in these places?

I know the quote is optimistic, that is fine to add that positivity in your piece but try not to state the obvious, go beyond, why you must change direction, whether it be leaving this place you chose or going toward it....

PHOTOS: Can be found on this website [let me know if it's not working for you]

    http://izismile.com/2012/03/07/the_worlds_most_beautiful_places_33_pics.html

These are 33 pics of the "world's most beautiful places", just scroll down and they are all shown. Pick one or two, say the one you chose at the bottom of the poem you write, but do not give the
place's name ANYWHERE in the poem. Let the reader see it. You may give reference points like oceans around it, etc.... but don't give the location out.

Any forms are accepted, I ask under 100 lines this time with no rhyme. You can only submit one poem.

One more thing to add: you may not use these words in your poems
    - sail, destination, nature, direction, country, mountains, water, coast

Judging will consist of three judges who will vote on a scale of 1 to 10 and will give comments. I will have no say in any of this unless there is a tie, then I will break it.

Due date will be Sunday April 21, 2013 at night PnQ time.
    HAVE FUN = )

    Oh I have a question...
    Is this a cumulative contest?

And nice quote, I haven't seen the pics yet but I look forward to reading the poems.
