It was very short fuse because some highly charged interesting individuals have disappeared. But we can always have fun with the world community of the world's languages with the Dutch, German, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi, Persian-speaking poets who are still here.

So if the mods do not mind this fun foreign language conversation on this topic, go ahead and make this fun thread in many languages.

I literally have done probably 10 different Rosetta Stone programs. I love them.

When you tell a tale count how many tales you tell because whenever you tell tales you never count how many tales you told. :)

esta platica esta interesante, ( this conversation is interesting) Linda, je ne parle pa le francais, mai je comprend un peu, c'est tres difficile pour moi. Do the rosseta software really works?

    Life is a struggle<<<<>>>>^^^^¡!!!!!!

Thank you for the prompt ....here is a thought for everyone in 3 languages :)

Translated, yes Boss :)

There is no smile without a tear shed,
No true love without a true loss
No life without the thought of death first
No pleasure without a real struggle,
But, once on the top the view is great

.... But anyways, yeah, home made ones are great, you can put whatever you want in it too, like peanut butter or something, lol.

  • Chelsey

Dont you dare send me a picture of that Britt lol

I cant say I eat anything from the sea, but I'm going to try fish this year because I want to learn to fish and I'd have to eat what I catch...

Tacos are just too traditional to mess with....we cant go taking the meat our of the tacos and substituting it for randomness LOL..heck, I was pretty mad when they introduced chicken into tacos...come on!

  • Hallucinostic

Fishing, thats cool. But if youre more into meat stuff, why not learn how to hunt and stuff(if youre not doing those things already, that is)
... Yeah, I get that, Id be like "Hell NO!" if I learned theres a tuna flavored Dunkin Donut myself, lol.
BUT unfortunately, "The only thing that is constant is change." :D

  • L

    Well,

Tacos are anything put in a tortilla.

Taco de frijoles ( bean tacos)
taco de papas ( potato tacos)
tacos de revoltillo!! ( it's like egg with salsa)

though the ones with meat are the classic.

( but really I can't picture tacos with peanut butter, sorry I don't think I will ever try that, on the other hand, the tortilla that just came out from the pan with some cream and fresh cheese is so good)

oh flautas are yummy too, it's like the taco except the tortilla is rolled out with the stuff inside ( it can be chicken or potato or whatever one may wish) and then fried. Then add some cream and some type of tomato sauce on top, also cut lettuce and slices of tomato and it's ready to eat.

    There's nothing like sushi!

However, there's a Cuban restaurant (NOT a stand) downtown Houston: El Rey Taqueria.

They have the BEST fish tacos ever, with grilled tilapia, cabbage & habanero mayo.

  • Marcy Lewis

Habanero is my absolute fave. & I'll be sure to keep that in mind. I plan on going to Texas this summer to see a friend, hopefully I have a connecting flight and a big gap in time, and a stop in Houston.

I can not find a fish taco ANYWHERE in Ohio. I literally make my own like a few times a month. Salmon is where it's at.

Have you checked on Yelp? you might find 3 dozen places or more for fish tacos if you lived in a large city like columbus.

But, me being vegetarian, I love my local tacos with beans, guacamole added. I will let the fish spawn in your tummies
