I'm seeing the boards being...

....very quiet now and...I'm also reading a lot of poems that I think they are known authors on here going by other names and..I'm wondering why?...I recognise certain words etc that certain poets use frequently...think I've..once again..been here too long :)

And..the lack of mods'presence is still annoying...where are you all???

I hit this point....and I believe they call it, 'thee adult life'. Its awesome, yet again it sucksssss lol!

I've been on this site 9 years and I use to come home from school or stay up all night on Pnq, but now, I have 2 jobs, in school for 16.5 hours a week, and have 2 beautiful god children I spend my free time with.

I really miss being on here. I rarely have time to read and write anymore and I find nyself being so bummed when I get texts like, " did you read so and so's poem?"...I'm like....no :/

That makes up for my quietness!....but I totally miss it!!

I am not nearly as active as I was.....

Not really into poetry that much at the mo.

Part writers block part 'other things'

hopefully just a phase.

We all are busy cyclically with other things.

Other's have reasons for a fresh start.
Look at Ddavidd & Don and a certain lass.

Think you've posted in the wrong thread Khalid but at least I know what you're talking about :) I was also overseas and on a laptop when I couldn't reply (sorry guys....we're talking about not being able reply to pms from the other thread) I judged most of Luce's contest by having to reply as a new message when she sent the poems through....it just seemed to work for me..although it was a pain...just thought I'd suggest it to you...can't think of any other way but...I know how frustrating it will be for you right now....nothing the mods can do about it BTW...

You say you are not in your own country right now, is this still correct? The buttons got changed a few days before I left Australia and I couldn't comment/reply to pms and there was also a third problem which I don't remember now....the problem continued while I was overseas as I said and when I returned both Larry and LS tried to walk me through the stages of installing Google Chrome which I didn't manage to do despite all there efforts and pacience *cough* ...it just started working again one day any I'm still using IE..the only problem I have right now is...can't comment on love poems and recently I've found that some of my pms go AWAL but....just something we have to live with until Janis shows up again eh?

Yes, right now I'm in Egypt where the internet is excellent. And I'm using the google chrome browser which works very nice. But I'm sure I'm not the only member suffering of this but it sucks that I become inactive in commenting and voting while other can do that with my poems, this is unfair. I used to be quite active before this problem began.

Yeah...you were active I know but...can you remember I walked you though putting your avatar up there? I'm not an expert Khalid....far from it..I'm just trying to go through the same problems I had myself and...I will keep trying until someone else with more knowledge takes over...shouldn't be long haha!!! Are you using your own laptop?..I wasn't...is it tied into your home computer/phone etc....is something in your own country blocking it? These are all questions I'm asking without knowing how to correct if you answer yes to any of them but...maybe some whizz kid can help us both out :)

I can't address the unfairness issues since I was not a mod at the time. You do know the present crew does not tolerate harassment of the sort you suffered.

However, I wasn't referring to you as the lass. I don't mean to start people guessing so this is all I will say on that matter.

I'm so confused. Do you think the people 'in hiding' just have two accounts? Or just the one and are pretending to be someone theyre not?

The ones I know of have a single account each.
