Free verse doesn't HAVE to sound like a diary. I've never read anything by Basho that sounded like a diary, and the only form he ever used was haiku. |

True, free verse doesn't have to sound like a diary entry but I found out that it's bound to, specially the one that is written on the spot. I mean there's nothing wrong with them, they are vents and also poems. it's just that from time to time is refreshing to read good rhymes. That's why I was wondering what happen to those rhymers. . . How come I barely see ballads in this site? |
