Things that bore me...Just a rant!

Just bored and thought I'd give you a little rant...just for fun

A) I hate people who post poems and comment on their own ones or wait for the reply to the person they wrote it for and then continue to unload their laundry in public between them...grow up guys....especially those over 40 and...over 50s....why even bother!

B)I hate people who post that they're leaving but are still here? Just go or don't...the choice is yours but...we don't need a daily reminder....

C) Well..can you fill in C...it's just for fun???

Here is my C. I hate it when people leave a bad rating and not leave a comment or say why

Maybe a bit off topic...but I have a big problem when people stop in the middle of the street to chat while they're surrounded by empty parking spaces. They are complete boobs !!!

C) People who- the only time they pm you is to ask you for comments...

Hellon I am sure that is C.

C...when weekly judges overlook progressive or otherwise very creative works in favor of those that are more accessible.

C . . When all we have is a canvas with grass and then a cow comes and eats all the grass... leaving us with just a canvas?

Dayzed and everyone else...your rant doesn't have to be about this site alone..it can be about anything that bugs you really. I was just a little peeved yesterday about all the poems I read from people which I found just too personal for others to read...you know...replying to each other through poetry/comments...we have phones for that guys!

Another of my hates...going up the escalator and the people in front of you reach the top and stop dead to continue with their conversation leaving the rest of us with nowhere to go haha!!!

C- people who spread pointless hatred.

Then, off topic, mosquitoes! They are just not my friends lately... there was one two nights ago in my room and I woke up with a bite swollen on my forehead, was the size of a quarter but eventually went down.

Haha Helon I hate when people make a thread about themselves and what they hate. Who cares! we are not as absorbed as you are, in you, or as how absorbed you want us to be.
and that hatred includes me because if I was not a hypocrite I wouldn't post this.
And I love me, then, you are fine!

even though it seems so absurd but the logic in this is flawless.

I hate when people make assumptions about others, especially when they have never met them.

I hate when we oversee in others things that we easily ignore in ourselves.

I hate when I use the word hate because I am unable to hate anything but human ability to easily disdain.

I also do not 'hate'...

but....I strongly dislike

people in inappropriate clothes, with all their goodies hanging outl There is such a thing as modestly sexy, I do that often in a slim dress and what not, but some girls around here, colored bra, see through shirt, an ass that eats their shorts...ugh..looks terrible.

I also dislike when I see 13/14 yrs holding hands and kissing...it makes me question the parents and the teachers that totally disregard how young they are and have no idea what their kids do after school or in free time.

I dont like when people ask someone in authority something and say 'chelsey wants to know', when they know damn well they are the ones that want to know. dont make me look bad.

when people dont leave enough milk in the gallon for a bowl of cereal...why leave 1/3 of a cup in there? just drink it! That just teases the next person.

getting stuck behind a garbage truck or school bus....im a speed demon, I dont have time to wait.

the fact that the government puts chemicals in our food.

doctors who prolong their patients care...meanwhile theyre dieing.

......i could keep going, but my last one....that is borderline to hate, though I wish to not hate anyone or anything...

birds!! I am terrified of birds, I cant stand those creatures, big or small I run from them all the time and make a complete fool out of myself, but I cant help it, they literally scare me to death.

I don't hate people who keep downrating my old poems.But I can't understand the reason why this specific someone does that. Am I the only target or are there more members in the same situation? I haven't been here quite often and whenever I come I see my old poems and even the ones that were winners are downrated. Weird world!

When people shove religion down your neck like its the only religion that matters and disregarding the line of how I feel that they are unminding the fact that I have my own faith.

Willful ignorance...yeah..pretty much hate that too..

Things that bore me today: Excel spreadsheets. SNORE.

But other than that, today has been grand!

I agree with the following user & comment;

=SUM(A8:B8) / (result in cell C8 = Kevin + comment)
=SUM(A22:B22) / (reult in cell C22 = Abracadabra + comment)
*had to make up result cell as there is only two columns lol

=SUM(C8:C22) / (final result agree with = Kevin and Abracadabra + comments)

What annoys me is people who are close-minded

This site and it's little glitches! A few days ago I was unable to post on the main boards then, one of my poems had some strange symbols attach themselves to it and now...When I commented on Noura's winning poem my comment showed up twice and when I tried to edit the second one out and leave an apology/explanation this showed up as a third comment from me Grrrrrrrrrrr

I cleaned them up, Hellon.

My clothes dryer. Its old and takes ages to dry a load of laundry. Its pouring down rain so I can't hang them out to dry, and just boooooo. First world problems I know.

Britt...talking about dryers...mine suddenly decided to fall off the wall a couple of weeks ago, during the night...scared me half to death!

A dryer that falls off the wall: is that equivalent to a reformed alcoholic that falls off the wagon?

You can't say either one is still dry[ing].

Personally I have never seen a drunk or a dryer mounted on the wall, but I have seen a few on the floor

Spent far to much of my young life hating things or getting easily annoyed. Now I try to find fulfillment in whatever life gives us and I strive for. If somethings annoying me I move on or if I have the capacity to 'change' said annoyance I do so.

I find it silly now to let anyone get you hot and bothered over what they do. Everyone is different and how they act, well also different. Keeps life interesting :)

So Let me fill in C but on a positive note instead of a negative one.
- I love the smile I get from a client when they see the photography I present to them.

-The way my husband glows when he feels our daughter kick,

- the fact that we've been given this little miracle when many around us still struggle for the one thing they deserve.

-for the safety I feel when I go into work and around our community (Some of our member on here aren't so lucky right now :( )

- How giving people can be in the face of a tragedy.

- The job I have while others remain unemployed.

- The humility I felt over the years that helped me grow into a far more open minded and caring women.

- After what we went through with our 4 miscarriages. Learning to find love and hope when your heart is in the deepest depths of hell. After all that we're still standing and it made us both realize what we truly should feel anger over. The rest became a petty childish game. We learned that there's more to life then being so bitter, so negative all the time. We realized just how many gifts we have to smile about.

I'll say 2 things very simple that bother me:
People who don't use blinkers & people who don't turn off their brights lol

You've brought a nice change of pace to this thread, Amanda. Thanks for sharing and reminding us of the how much we have to be grateful for... I think most of us struggle to remember sometimes.

Thank you both. I don't mean to come off as high and mighty though. Obviously we all get annoyed at one time or another completely acceptable. I just didn't have any annoyances things to say :)

Things that bore me today: My own poetry. I'm having one of those "I hate everything I have in my closet" days... except with poems. Blargh largh flargh.

Ha, count on my to bring the tone down again. I'm just being a whiner, but you guys should carry on : D
