    Great article, thanks for sharing it.
    It's so interesting to see different peoples views and ideas about things. Selflessness is a huge part of marriage and it's cool when people know that getting into it all.

    How clever!! This is the best way to put it.
    Neither one should write poetry for her/himself.

    I've read this blog so many times, I seriously love it. It's completely true. We live in a world today that 'give me, give me' is the norm. Marriage is such a sacred union in my opinion and yet I see so many people treat their spouses worse than they would an every day stranger at the grocery store. Do something sweet for your spouse just to make them smile every single day. It's amazing how blessed your marriage can be if you let it.

    Euterpe... you're welcome. By the way, you remind me someone.

    Mr. Ddavidd, humans ( we) are selfish...

    Britt, yes! I'll take that as a great advice for hopefully the near future.

    This was a great article...

    the same goes in my marriage.. It gives me great joy to make my husband smile... each day.. such as Britt shared.. its the little things, the unselfish acts of kindness, love and respect that I give to him that make me smile in return.. and the sweet man I married does the same for me...

    a wonderful link you shared Lucero..

    Actually I only cared for the context .

    my next wife is going to be happiest girl in the world. Unfortunately I can do nothing for the previous ones or in that matter for the one that is going on.
    haha I am an exaholic. I think I should quit having ex. It is a bad habit!!
    I do not know which emoticon is more proper, so I put them both:
    ): :) (: :(

    Good for you

    Most of people are like this. Somehow like marriage;
    it feels good.

    Paul Eluard has an amazing poem about this.
