Describe your Christmas tree.. lets see if anyone has similar trees. Surel my out of a whole site, we will have some close pairs??

Do you have a real tree, fiberobtic tree, small, big, no tree?
What is at the top of your Christmas tree?
Do you have a star? An angel? Something different every year?
Do you buy the decorations for your tree to match the room it is in? Or do you have a lot of personal decorations maybe hand made etc? Is there a theme?

Tell us about your Christmas Tree :)

    I love Christmas trees!!!

I have a real tree that my man went and cut down himself because he wanted to feel manly lol. It is medium sized. I have a somewhat rustic theme going on... I used natural colors like shades of brown, cream and white. I have pinecones, lanterns, different sized crosses and some personalized ornaments that me and some friends made the other night.

I actually don't have a topper yet... I've been trying to decide if I even want one because it looks good without it.

What does your tree look like, Saffie?

My husband says the trees I like are road cones. Lol they're big douglas firs (real). Its a bummer though this year were getting a smaller tree.

My lights are big, round bulbs that are alternating red and white. We decorate with icicles (glass), a few Moose ornaments, Oregon Ducks ornaments, and 'our first Christmas' as a married couple ornament I made last year. Were getting our tree tomorrow!

It sounds like you all will have a beautiful Christmas. Wish I could share in the happiness. My family doesn't even put up a tree but maybe someday will have my own small tree

    I have two trees.

One is in my apartment - it is a 6 foot tall, scrawny artificial tree that I got on sale last year. I decorated it with silver tinsel, lights, and cheap plastic gold ornaments from Target. Last year I wrapped scarves around the base, but this year I bought a red felt skirt at the dollar store. Last year it was up from November to approximately April. I said "I'll keep it up for as long as there is snow on the ground!"

Obviously, this is a stand-in for my REAL tree, which my parents have at my family home. This tree is always real, usually cut and placed by my dad, as he curses and mutters about how the tree with "such a straight trunk" that we found at the lot has somehow morphed into a twisted tree monster. After that tradition is complete, my mom usually cajoles my brother and I into decorating, and we are always sulky about it, for some reason. We cover the tree in lights (including some sparkly ones that are about 40 years old), tinsel, and a kajillion ornaments that combine the new one that my brother and I each buy every year, with the handmade ones that were the products of our Sunday school, Girl/Boy Scout, Elementary class project days. It's all topped off by a gold, light-up star with 2 of the five lights broken.

Anyway, I've always liked that it's a Christmas tree that would never, ever show up in a Martha Stewart magazine. It's a family tree, through and through.
