Well thank you Larry and avery
It is some random image perhaps a metaphor of a wingless bird.

The story is about a quail my sister bought for my niece but somehow "he" always came to my apartment in the basement even her cats for some reason prefer my place, they're always here.
One day my niece was playing with her friends (8 years old then) they slammed the door accidentally, the bird in between. He almost died we spend hundreds of dollars for the 5 dollars bird to rescue him. After a month of bruised and swollen head, he started to walk but we find out he was blind. He was very energetic and just started to jump in order to fly, before that, but after, he never flied, just aimlessly ran and hit his head to barriers and turned in circles. The only place that he always was calm, unstartled and relaxed was in the crack of my chest. We spent hours together like that; we bonded in someway that was beyond anything I could ever imagine or be able to explain. One day when I was not home my sister's cat somehow opened the bedroom door and came in and killed him. They did not kill him right away, they evidently toyed with him; a little feather here a little feather there, all over the basement and upstairs. I could not find him but when I did, part of his body was eaten, all of his intestine and interiors was missing except the heart which was amazingly hanged out of his open chest intact, attached to some tiny veins.
so these two poems (and few others) are for him.
