Daily Challenge Prompts

Check back here every day to see the next prompt please. It will save space on the boards instead of posting a new thread every day!

ANYONE can take part in this, all you have to do is take the prompt, write a poem, and PM me with it on the same day. If you want to take part in just one day, that is fine, however if you want to attempt all 4 days - I dare you ;)

Poems can be written however you want, as long as you use your prompt. I will post the poems for voting on Friday.

P.s - you may change the wording of the prompt to fit the tense of your poem, so if I say haunted, you could change it to haunt, or haunting etc.

PROMPTS:

MONDAY : Write a poem using the words "perfectionist" and "poet/poetess" and you must include a colour somewhere.

TUESDAY: write a poem containing the following items: a type of flower, a note(letter), and a tissue

WEDNESDAY: write a poem including : a scar, a mirror, a body part, and must contain the words " someone else's mistake"

THURSDAY: This poem must take place at an airport! And must include the following the words; heartbeat(s), ticket(s), chance(s)

This is a great prompt to start out with. It will get the mind thinking

How many poems do you have in so far if I may ask?

Are all of the poems being posted together or will there be a separate voting for each day?

I am going to post them all together, but have voting for separate days, so you will have 4 votes, one for each day's collection.

I currently have 14 poems in. Only tomorrow's prompt left, and I will be posting these on Friday!!

The 4 winning poems will go to another vote on Saturday, to decide the winner of the whole thing.

Last set of prompts are up everyone, so for anyone who hasn't took part yet, you still have the rest of today(Thursday) to submit a poem to me.

This competition closes tonight, and I will post the poems for voting tomorrow :)

As there will be a lot of poems to read through, can we have more than one day to vote? I'm going to be super busy tomorrow so I don't know if I'll have chance to read through them all properly
