Why the difference in reactions?

The video below shows two actors acting out a scene of physical abuse, firstly man on woman then woman on man.

The difference in the reactions of the public is astounding, you can even sense a difference in atmosphere.

Why?

Society as a Whole, in my opinion views that woman should never be abused and Men are the stronger of the sex and can "take it" or deserve it.

I think its wrong on both sides. Abuse is WRONG period!
