WHY?

I love when people take positive aspects of terrible human beings and hold them up as example of why they weren't so bad.

"oh, Hitler was kind to animals and he was a vegetarian...yeah I know he had some wacky ideas about the purity of German blood and was responsible for the deaths of, well a few people but...he was nice to dogs"

He was a remarkable man, no doubt and certainly he had a conscience (he held back a few times against the Allies out of humanitarian concerns) but you can only balance that so much against his crimes.

The portion of the following youtube after the 40 minute marker of the very long discussion somehow reminded me of this discussion and I am not going to pretend to understand fully what the lady that had the NDE was trying to translate to this realm of reality

I've seen lots of things like that. Israelis who climbed hills out of Gaza to witness and cheer the explosions an the death of their enemy (children- innocence- defenceless) . These despicable people has already forgotten their origin. Exactly like the time that Moses went only for forty days to the mountain and haha in his absence they melted the gold they stole from Egyptian, to make the goat head instead of God, to worship.

So you like hitler for what he's done to the Jews, Abed, because you believe that the Jews were always evil? Ever stop to wonder what would have happened had hitler not killed them in masses? Do you think the situation is palestine would've been the same as it is now? Do you not know a lot of Jews that are against what's happening to Palestinians?

I don't know until when will each side keep on pointing finger trying to prove that no, their pain, their loss, their death has been more than the other's. That they have a reason and an excuse for hating the other to the point of wishing them dead, that they are the victims and hence, everything they do, every foul thought and act is justified.
