4-9. Must include a time or date

    July 25th, 2010,
    was the day I married
the other half of my soul.
    we fused together like
    a midsummer's
    blissful dream.

    Our magical union
    blossom's each year
as our eye's say good morning
    upon this very day~

    Armpits are the Rodney Dangerfield
    of the human physical anatomy
but if you are embarrassed by having one
    just suffer through an axilliatomy.

    Andrea (Acrostic)

Anyone who thinks they know a person
    needs to understand this lady fey;
doesn't take guff from a single person
rides a broom to social gatherings
eats wholesomely and yet is a sucker for
any cute kitten crawling into a box

like a billowy fluff of cotton candy,
    the taste is sweet,

5-3. Include "a bridge(s)" or "a kiss(es)" either by the words, or through metaphor.

    I crossed a bridge
    that burned long ago,
    while a shadowy memory
    choked me in a slumbering
    sleep.

    Born To Be Wild

    She told me her name

    shy, or seen as mild
    I don't feel any shame
that I's born to be wild

    Tryst of Fancy

    The sidewalk
    is laced with dandelions
    and seedlings, urging
    to breathe upon a
    hot day in July,
    when restless
    grasshoppers
    nibble at their leaves.

    I admire the tryst
    with a fancy for nature
    and the simple life.

    My husband plays video games,
    Larry likes them as well,
    stuck in the eighties
    of video game
    extravaganza!

    I adore pac man
    and a long trip
    across the dungeons
    of Dragons, for I am
    a Drow elf of beauty.

the future is mine to see
look my way lend me your ears
I've spoken truth through the years
shaking the dust off my feet
a purpose in life would defeat

    Summer Heat (Rictameter)

    Summer
    breezes melt my
    feverish lips with cold,
    frozen ice cubes of perfection
leaving me floating upon a cloud of blue
for the sky is my soft playground
    when I've quenched my thirsty
    desire's of
    Summer

6-4. Use a song title for the poem's title.

    Good Golly Miss Molly

    She's a raging lunatic,
    adorning mascara as deep
    as the oceanic wide, draped
    in leopard print leggings,
    while prancing along the
    streets of Mafia town,
    cackling on her cell phone.

    She's a typical Ghetto babe,
    her name is Molly-
    Good Golly.

    Silent Blue Jay

Her wings were a velvety blue,
pale hush of tears lie deep
    upon the river bank
    where she rests her dying
    feathers.

    A fallen Blue Jay
    has sung her last song,
    melodies become
    polluted, for the lazy
    fisherman carelessly
    trashed another birds
    chance at life.

It's just a bird he sighs,
    as the forest goes silent.

    They have all passed on.

I've always been proud of my sex,
You know they even named me Rex .
I really thought all of me was mine to keep,
but the vet gave me a shot to put me to sleep.
When I woke up at the crack of dawn,
My precious little Jewels were gone.
I no longer have what I once had.
Damn, that sure makes me awfully mad.
It just is not that fair or right
That I could not put up a fight.
They have took the very best part of me.
You can bet where I am going to pee.
On the one that allowed this disaster.
I do not care if he is my master

    Look beyond my walls
See that I'm a child at heart

    Live to make me smile
    When I've fallen apart

Cry with me even when it's dumb
    It's your support that counts

Hear me breathe deep at night
Because only you will hold me tight

    Nursed Rhymes
    Some say I sound rehearsed,
    that my rhymes are nursed.
Don't want their bubble to burst
so I will write at my worst
    when the reason comes first
    the author is well versed
not that I am that cursed.

    Countless children are born
    everyday
    From different types of mothers
    From single to married
    Inside their wombs they clearly

    They cry knowing everything
    Is all right now

    Ireland land of the welcomes
    scattered the Flying Geese;
    they fought in many battles
    marched under many flags
save one alone: the harp of Eire.
In '25 'twas said the Collins
was joined by all the clans
    including some who silently
    strode beside him proud
from over a hundred years past.

    8 - 3. Bridge

    Under the Walnut Street Bridge
we missed the boat - it sailed
in music and dance on river surge
    with merriment and left us on the bank;
She was so sad, our first date,
ran all the way from her job
    at the hamburger joint
    next to my theater.
It was the spot of our first kiss.

    Do me a favor

Leave your ego at the dotted line
It will only take your self-restraint
Breathe in and out you'll just die bleeding

    Heart full of regrets
That is what happens to sinners
    When they meet Death
    In all his glory

    Live life slowly
    Enjoy it with care
    Because it's a gift
Do me a favor live &love
