    5. Formed (Acrostic)

    Know this:
No matter what's going on, it's never
    Okay to
    Call them
    Knockers.
    Except if coming from a
    Righteous
    Saucy source like me.

    6. Alcohol/drugs

There are few things more beautiful
than the drunk-like smile that plays at the ends
of a mother's lips as she watches her baby
    nourishing itself through her body,
    grunting with its purpose.

    7. 10-13 lines

    In India, breasts
    are tucked behind
    the swathe of a sari,
    the folds of a dupatta,
    the loose drape
    of a printed kameez,
    revealing their presence
    only when the monsoonal wind
    blows its hot, heavy breath
    against them.

    8. Simile

The beach means boobies, boobies, boobies.
    Slung into tiny triangles,
they swing low to pick up the sunscreen
that is then applied like a polish.

    1. Animal and number

    Firm and full of power,
    cleaved into two gleaming mounds,
they rise from blouses, dresses, labcoats,
and anchor a gaze in a foolish man's eyes,
cause rise in his shorts, trousers, armour,
    then unseat his heart.

    2. Wild (in response to Nicko's #10)

There once was a lady called Abby
Whose tits were FAAAR from flabby,
    She met up with Nick,
    Still thought him a dick,
    Especially because he was grabby.

    3) Life

I'm as blind as a bat these days
And hairs growing out my ears
    Like bean sprouts
Can nearly knot them with the ones out my nose
    What's falling off next

    4) Must include the words of a club name on this site. Yes, you can use the same club twice

There was an old sailor from FOP named Frank
Who was asked politely to walk the plank

I've just married myself a new bride
He was given the option to have a good wank

    Acrostic Pumpkin

    Pumpkin soup

    6) Drugs or Alcohol

I love to have a beer with Duncan
I love to have a beer with Steven
I love to have a beer with Phillip
I'd love to have a beer with Jake
But I'll never have a beer with ddavidd
    Cause ddavaidd's not me mate

    7) 10 to 13 lines

    Ashburton
    A sleepy little country town
    Halfway between nowhere
    To service the farmers
    As rural as it gets
    Quarter acre manicured lawns
    Mavis knows Mabel
    Gladys knows Silvia
    Everybody knows everybody
    Everybody knows everything
    Thank god I shifted
    I would have died there

    8) Must include a metaphor or simile

Where does Buddhism sit on the this tree
    Peaceful encompassing
It's what all others are not
    Its created no wars
Its about mutual and self respect
    It doesn't criticize other religions
    In fact Buddhists don't believe
    They are of the world
    The world is there stage

New prompts! Might I suggest a new thread for each new set of prompts? This is getting crazy.

    1) ONE animal & ONE number

    California Condor

Not the peacock to your hen, m'lady,
but I dare say, I glide on clouds graceful
as any ruffled swan with two far-beating wings.
    Over canyons and vast deserts, I soar;
an ebony nightmare with ivory plume,
but dare not come too close, m'lady.
I would not scare thee with red, bloated head.

    2) Wild Card

    Mercurial

    Facetious, flippant, frivolous.
I've been called worse by friend than foe,
    though Tybalt said his share.

    3) Life

it's so short, over in the blink of an eye
I try and make each day last longer and longer
    I stay up late
Wake up at the crack of dawn
And do something in the middle
    But still it races by
    GOD dam it
    SLOW down...

    5. Formed poem (excluding haiku/senryu

    The club
Has stood the test of time
    Exceeded my expectations

    6. Alcohol

    Beer in hand
    Touched to my lips
    I took a swig
    Coursing down my throat
    Cooled my heart
    Cooled my soul
    Cooled my relationship
    Killed my love
    Destroyed my life
    Beer in hand
    Touched to my lips

    7. 10-13 lines

    August is half over
Thank god spring will soon be here
That's why I brought blood and bone
    For my strawberries see
    It's time to plant out
    Fertiliser first mound the dirt
    Divide the plants
    Then stick them
    In the ground
    Lots of water
    Lots of sun
    Then heaven
    Heaven for my daughter

    8. Must include a metaphor or similie

Realisation hit me like hale on a stormy night
Like a brick in the head

    Time for the dentist

    2. Wild Card

You're crazy in a good way.
You know, you like to pull faces
and laugh like a hyena and
dress up in lycra, swinging your ass around.
You read trash and play guitar like a madman.
    You are sick and twisted
    and cool, basically.

    6. Alcohol or Drugs

    Stuff the life in,
    roll it up,

    leave nothing but smoke

    over everything.

  • abracadabra

    7. 10-13 lines

    Many people seek
    to find themselves
    in rivers that tell secrets,
or in the last dregs of tea,
    by climbing a mountain or
    sitting silently by themselves
    holding their own hand
    as a sign of solidarity
    and a belief
    they wish to hold.

  • abracadabra

    8. Must include a metaphor or similie

    The couple next door
    are having an argument.
    We hear their sounds rise
and fall and flutter like two
    hearts beating hard with love.

1 - Must include an animal AND one number:

    Those two finches no longer
    warble on our windowsill.
    Maybe the sniper
    this morning mistook
    them for new targets.

    2 - Wild card.

    Animal and a number

    I'm always afraid of cats,
of their sudden flexiblity, their fake
    loyalty, their mysteriousness, their
    claws, their two-faced-ness,
of the way they march after you feed
them, raising their tails in the air,
    arching their fat necks with
    haughtiness.

    3 - Category: Life

    Life isn't so beautiful
when the only thing you could hear
    all day
is the sound of your keys
hitting the table after you come home
    alone

4 - Must include the words of a club name.

    I'm musing
and the sea is unfolded in
    front of me now.

throwing it to the shore, a star
    by another.

    5 - Formed poetry (excluding haiku/senryu)

    Acrostic

We argue over who's dying more than the other
as hatred digs graves for both of us. May we
rest in peace. All of us.

  • nouriguess

    6 - Alcohol or drugs

    You can't help but
    feel drunk when you walk
    by those roofed markets, embracing
    small taverns, along cobblestone pavements
    that wrap old Damascus.

  • nouriguess

    7 - 10-13 lines

I never remember our old house in silence.
There was always the sound of early newscast,
the sound of water gushing between olive trees,
the sound of our neighbors quarreling, then
making up. There was always the sound of dreams
hanging from the lintels, the sound of prayer
pouring from our souls. And the sound of fear,
    sometimes, as policemen slammed doors.
And there was some laughter too. There was
always the delicate sound of your smile.

You were all of this music, and now
    everything is hushed dead.

    8 - Must include a metaphor or a simile

    (haiku)

    I am a thousand
    acres of flat land, tedious,
    barren and empty.

    1. Must mention ONE animal AND ONE NUMBER

White tigers are the most beautiful
    cats
    That ever graced this world
They have what normal cats have
Beauty, loyalty to their cubs, and
    deadly strikes
Only one shot at those majestic animals
Is all that I ask before I die

  • -Choke-On-MY-Halo-

    2 - Wild card

    Winter kisses softly
    Embracing my feverish heart
    Donning on the mask of
    love
In order to kill me in my sleep

    3 - Category: Life

I drank myself to slumber last night
In order to forget my lost wife
She took our kids to the grave
    That I'll never forgive
    I never saw them again
and that's how this drinking problem
    began
I put on makeup to hide the pale skin
That seems to be my color now
When I was tan before this tragedy began
