We finally came to a halt

How a jumbo every gets in the air is beyond me

The old man turned to his wife
"Remember when we were that young?
Our parents couldn't stand each other
So we ran away like Romeo and Juliet"

Laughing she nodded smiling she replied
"O yeah I remember we eloped like one
of those girly novels I used to read
It's a wonder they didn't expire when
they saw our wedding rings
the next day",

Smiling both walk back home
Where their grandkids scream
"Welcome back!"
