    Hello :)

I am a former member of P&Q. It's been quite some time since I have logged in. I'll try to keep this very short and to the point.

When I was most active with this site. I was going through depression. I used writing poetry as an outlet for my feelings. I just want to say THANK YOU to the mods of this site, and also the members, both past and present. Without this site, and the people I met, I don't know how I would have got through my depression.

For anyone who is here maybe for a similar reason. Using poetry as an outlet for depression. I promise you, things do get better. Just hold on tight. I honestly thought I would never get out of my loop. However, I did. I'm now married, and I have three beautiful little boys. It may not seem like things will get better in time, but they really do. xxx

P.S. I really miss writing! I wish I had more time on my hands to come visit more often!!

Hey there. Just wanna say, welcome back. Highly probably we've read each other's poem at one point or something, hehe. Well me too, I just started to visit this site again after some time. Anyways, hope to see more of your work. See you around. :)

This is lovely, thank you, and thanks for being a part of the site. PnQ has helped me as well, in too many ways to count. Did you always go by that user name?

Another success story. So inspired to see how strong you have become.
Now your children are your beautiful poetry, though I am sure the verbal ones are going to come beck to you too , if they ever left.

Welcome back Natalie! Don't think I know you from past years?? But that is wonderful you have been a part of this site and hope you can share more writings now, if you are inspired. I agree about writing being an outlet... it means so much that we can share it is as a community too.

Congrats on getting married and being a mother as well!

Silvershoes, I think I had my name set as `-*TaLeE or something silly like that. It's been years!!! Most of my work is from 2006 and 2007, lol.

By the looks of things, the people I use to know well on here don't seem to be around. I've had a look through the forums, seems very quiet too :(

Ohwel, It's good to be back! Now I just need to get past writers block. I found myself very good at expressing sadness.. Happiness is really testing me.

When you get time to record your joy I hope something from Gibran's The prophet may help :)

    On Joy & Sorrow
Then a woman said, "Speak to us of Joy and Sorrow."
    And he answered:
Your joy is your sorrow unmasked.
And the selfsame well from which your laughter rises was oftentimes filled with your tears.
And how else can it be?
The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain.
Is not the cup that hold your wine the very cup that was burned in the potter's oven?
And is not the lute that soothes your spirit, the very wood that was hollowed with knives?
When you are joyous, look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow that is giving you joy.
When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.
Some of you say, "Joy is greater than sorrow," and others say, "Nay, sorrow is the greater."
But I say unto you, they are inseparable.
Together they come, and when one sits alone with you at your board, remember that the other is asleep upon your bed.
Verily you are suspended like scales between your sorrow and your joy.
Only when you are empty are you at standstill and balanced.
When the treasure-keeper lifts you to weigh his gold and his silver, needs must your joy or your sorrow rise or fall.

Gibran from his best seller "The Prophet"
