CLUB BATTLE - decent poem share

Okay - so we have the thread for the ridiculous ones, but can we all highlight some of the ones that were really good, and worthy of being called "poems" lol. I know there was a few, perhaps nearer the beginning, that really stood out for me.

Damn - I really should start checking the existing threads - before making new ones!

In Damascus, near the markets,
there is always a
homeless wandering in the streets, running
after wealthy people hiding behind
their car windows.
You can see him chewing his fingertips,
staring at clothes he will never buy,
at families he'll never be a part of,
at the sky as it swallows the sun, and
he looks down.
He's lonely and cold and
dying soon.

You, yes you over there
faking a smile for the camera.
Doll like hair, sadness in your gaze,
not wanting to go to church anymore.
Barbed wire eyes hurt me to watch,
shackled by the worlds mainstream.

Perfect is what your parents expect,
but we both know the truth about why
you wear long sleeve shirts and sunglasses.
You see your mother everywhere don't you
or is it to hide the tears you are ashamed to cry?

We are made up of flaws , that's why we are called human.
Don't listen to what everyone else thinks anymore,
the only place called home is in your heart, follow it.
I'm always here if you need to talk, feelings are
made to be expressed.

You are beautiful and lost no doubt, but
I'm glad I found you. The colors on your body
are just the artwork you created, and you created
a masterpiece.
