I need HELP!!!!

I'm new at writing poems and I need help. I haven't gone through a lot of the things a lot of the really great writers on this site so I don't know what to write about!! Does anyone have any tips or topics I could use??

um i am not sure i personlayt write about things that happen to me so i dont know what else to right about maybe just think of a cause like rasicm or somhting like abortion your views on it you know?

What:

makes you smile?

stimulates your thirst for knowledge?

makes you laugh?

do you know no one else does?

make you cry?

is the single most interesting thing?

and so on.

well, why don't u write an old fashioned poem? i mean, it's really fun writing those cuz you get to use words like "art, thy, thou" and whatever. I have one poem called "Lady Isadora the fair" and it's an old fashioned love poem, so check it out if you want to. And also, just use your imagination. You can write about nature (a flower for example) or then how something makes you feel. *hugs* and good luck, i will check out some of your poems later:)
