What Classifies Cheating?

What would you guys consider "cheating?"

Where do you draw the line?

Cheating...hmm, man so many fine lines which could be crossed to be considered cheating. Some people can be friendly..but sometimes get too friendly. Of course, no kissing or sex. It's up to the person to decide if holding hands qualifies as cheating, and maybe flirting too. It really depends on the person and their security about themselves and of closeness. I thought I'd leave someone for cheating on me but... I didn't because I loved to her much to. Yeah, that's my issue there. Well, the more secure people I know would leave someone for cheating no matter how deep they loved. When is it okay to cheat?? *ahem* never chica. Perhaps unless you and your b/f or g/f agrees to see other people but still be together. Like.. not going steady with each other with both people knowing that.

If you haven't clearly defined what constitues cheating then flirting can be considered cheating... you make the rules of your own relationships.

If my wife was emotionally tied to someone else I would consider that a greater betrayal to her shagging or kissing or whatever with someone else.

Without a shadow of a doubt. I would also leave my wife if I cheated on her, she deserves better than that.

When you're happy being cheated on.

I dont think flirting is cheating. That may be just me though.

o.O i think a girl kiss another guy and stuff... cause dam?non of that happen and i over acted and that ended everything with me and my ex-gf :(.... but after we broke up so many people move it... so it really piss me off

with the guy im with right now i love him too much to let cheating get in the way...now if he cheated on me teice it means he wasnt sorry the first time so yes i would leave him if he cheated on me twice....you know its natural to have feel like another person is attractive and flirting is just another way of talking...you know if you let little things like that ruin your relationship it wont last as long or it wont be a very fun relationship...you will start to feel like your being tied down...now bret was right if they are emionally attached that would also being cheating i would be very hurt too hurt to stay with him... i hceated on my boyfriend and he forgave me this once...thank god for that...

MY EX CHEATED ON ME AND SLEPT WITH MY BEST FREIND AKA HIS COUSIN WHEN THE WERE STONED BUT I FORGAVE HIM AND WE STAYED TOGETHER ANOTHER 7 MONTHS AFTER THAT! CHEATIN IS THAT BIG OF A DEAL IF U TRUELY LOVE SUM1 BUT IF THEY HAVE ENUFF RESPECT 4 U THEN THEY WOULDNT DO IT. SRY IF IM WRONG BUT THATS JUS MY WAY OF DEALING WITH THAT KINDA STUFF

i dunno if your sayin that towards me...cheatin is a big deal the sexual cheatin but when i say dont let little things liek that get in the way i mean like when your g/f or b/f is flirting or thinks someone else is attractive...but i belive love is the best hting and anything is worth it....workin the toughest situations out and not just walking away from them

I think cheating is a bigger deal if you truly love someone, because it shows that the cheater doesnt care about the other persons feelings.

I love my boyfriend so much that I dont know if I could stand to leave him if he cheated on me, but knowing him he never would, so hopefully its not something I need to worry about. I trust him implicitely.

I think I would be more upset about emotional cheating than physical cheating. Physical cheating is about hormones and body chemistry, but if my boyfriend had an emotional attachment to another girl and loved her that would kill me 10 times more than him physically cheating on me would.

Cheating......hmmmmm...interesting topic. Right now I think my b/f is chating on me. I think contact in any sexual way is cheating. Even a kiss on the cheek. I tell my b/f he can look as long as he doesn't tell me who else(besides me) he thinks is hot. But my jelousy level on a scale from 1-10 is an 11. Him giving another chick a hug pisses me off. I don't mean to freak out I just know that things can progress from there(i mean that's how he and I got started.)

Unless there is SO MUCH trust in a relationship, its bound to fail if one of the people are jealous.

cheating is when you do something physical with someone, who isnt your partner. but sometimes you can cheat without being physical, your heart can cheat before your lips/hands/other....
and unless I really love someone, I will always leave them for cheating on me. every bf I've had, until Cody, has cheated on me.....cheating is wrong and unfair to everybody...

Yeah, I'll second everything else most people have said, do unto others etc and add to that "your heart can cheat before your hands etc"

For instance, an attached person who attempts an affair with someone else is cheating, whether or not that someone else consents.

Cheating is anything you would not do in front of your partner. BEcause if you wouldn't do it in front of them, you obviously know its wrong.
