And the best thing about opening a new thread Larry is having the first word haha!!

what I say: you miss represent yourself and then you go and chase me, thread after threads that I, am "the deepest essence " guy, the Hazel, and now Mohammed

    ^^^^

    ddavidd's post

Chasing you? From thread to thread...really? I asked you direct questions as I've already stated. How is that miss representing myself?

    Question:

What is it like when the Id completely consumes the Ego?

  • Everlasting

    It's like trouble?

There was a P&Q figure that seemed to have a goal of taking the "I" out of poetry which seems more possible than removing the E

  • ddavidd

Haha Is that so Larry? is it the way you want to win an argument , by using your authority? This remind me of George Costanzia character who always wanted to have the best parking spot for lacking other things.
Shouldn't the last word belong to whom that has the word or at least has contributed something to the argument?? What did you do Just bragged about your tenure, not even your reason. Or do we call that word nowadays?? For me however as long as I am with the truth it is absolutely irrelevant who has the last word because in the final analysis the truth is higher than all the authorities. And ironically shall have the last word after all.

    Id, really??
If you are talking about Freudian Id, ego or supper ego It is so absurd. because Id is the lowest part of ones character, the instinct. The ego that we talking about here is totally different with the ego of what Freud was talking about. But I feel out of misfortune of having no argument you are trying to insinuate something so hilarious (if not I apologize). Like my Id has taken over my ego.
But the characteristics of those personalities that you are insinuating are being over sexual, primitive, resistant to education and reason, and most of all divinity. But whoever knows me know that these are nothing near who I am however they seem how one should characterize my opponents.

  • ddavidd

Or better yet you were not talking about me at all and were talking about yourself, and I am only making full of myself.
And that is good practice for me to get rid of my remaining ego which is the subject of all these discussions.

  • ddavidd

It is exactly what it is, A device to see who is the most argumentative, And I by far won the trophy

    Edited
But I do it on purpose. one is this place is dead and the other is too platonic that others do not care, and saying it, as everything else I do, would seem too arty to the average Joes

  • ddavidd

Haha I take that because it is so hard to make a fool out of yourself in front of the fools :

In desperate attempt to scape your own foolishness

this is another reason I do this:
you guys should watch the movie "They Live (1988) "

  • Larry Chamberlin

Id is the first existential experience we have of the world.
Beyond the bad press, it is the most honest, gut feel time of one's life.
Set aside the Freudian dynamics and look at the inner life of the young toddler, just beginning to understand the difficulties in obtaining gratification.
A developing ego is beauty incarnate.

  • ddavidd

I am so disappointed now because you did not mean bad.
I was craving a good battle.
also unfortunately I agree with what you said.
where is fun in this sinking ship??

    lets pick on Hellon:

So your directness is short circuit!!

  • Larry Chamberlin

Oh, but you take me at such a short read.

  • Michael D Nalley

I am a bit anally retentive when it comes to Freudian arguments ,but I like the "A developing ego is beauty incarnate." analogy

And I by far won the trophy

Self nominated and self awarded nonetheless!!!

You guys first accusing me of being egomaniac . Than go to war with me over it , after when I admit my defeat, do not even let me to celebrate my failure.
come on let me incarnate my beauty by reincarnating my ego, or vice versa.

  • Hellon

Ddavidd plays the victim once again :)

What happened to 'Let's pick on Hellon"? I rather liked that idea lol!!!

Make a small hole in (something) with a sharp point

If I was a referee I'd give two points for sharp points

I do not know what you mean Michael

and how did we got from transcendental to butt plug is beyond me.

That is all Hellon fault, why are we apologizing??

She is who ground our politeness with someone else's grinder.

  • Hellon

Well..to sum things up thus far...

some are born to produce beautiful creations that...perhaps (with a stretch of the imagination) look, not unlike pricks...

and, then there are some who are just born that way...

  • ddavidd

It was not as deep as how long you thought about it.

  • Michael D Nalley

I hope nobody has a dirty mind lol

  • ddavidd

No she delade her answer for so long and then come with some supposedly deep thought.

I guess in this stage everything could interpret dirty.

  • Hellon

There was a 7min delay in my reply...according to the p&q clock...in that time I fed my dog..opened a can of tuna...made a salad so, there was no deep thoughts ddavidd...just multi tasking as usual :)

  • Michael D Nalley

I can't remember whether the topic was
Spooning Leads To Forking, Be Sure To Use Condiments, or insults lead to fighting, stick to the argument .
My ex was a multi-tasker, she could bake sweet rolls while making love

  • ddavidd

The topic was " argument about argument"
As DR. Deepak Chopra said : brain is the only body part who involved to the stage that could doubt its own existence.
Like argument that is able to argue itself out.

I know not everyone is blessed with the sense of irony

  • Michael D Nalley

Now we can have a serious discussion about the mind, heart, and soul . The existentialist seem to be more inclined to electronic neurons than the ancient concept of the mind . People lose their phone and lose their mind then find their phone before they find their mind

  • Hellon

Well...if you loose your phone you can always ring the number in the hope of finding it but...if you loose you mind....who do you call...brain busters perhaps?

  • ddavidd

    You should watch this:

    Exactly
now you are the smart Hellon again

there is the biggest contemplation of the modern philosophy in that seemingly bobble gum movie.
It is going to blow your mind.
