I was given a poem and told that it was one I had written and forgot about, years after I posted it I learned to use google to check it out and I now believe Anon wrote it lol

The poem I posted was from a dead poet. Who is to say she did not give me permission to post it in a discussion forum ?

"A sheep among the wolves" - all pure, oppressed and brave.

Nothing like a (self-described) martyr at all.

Oh sorry, I see you said 'shepherd'. That's much more understated now. Like Jesus.

  • ddavidd

If you call being crucified as being a martyred communique.
Unfortunately like Bob you have to translate things to the language you understand in other to dislike.
The stereotyping boxes are sinful if used against gays or genders inequalities, but are quiet okay, if are used against the other religions.

Everlasting: I am glad you patched some of those holes and read the poetry again!!

  • abracadabra

Of course I have to translate things to a language I understand. Otherwise I couldn't understand anything at all, especially in a written forum.

I know, however, that you can just SEE. Pity not all of us are blessed with the rigorously-earned mystic powers of just SEEing things without attempting to understand them in our own little ways.

Oh crap, this the Moderator thread. Sorry for clogging it up with my nonsense. ddavidd is too much fun to play with.
Carry on with your proper work, mods, I'm outta here.

It's fine. We can always use the action. I'll post up a new thread if this one fills up.

"I just want[ed] to be the only shepherd of the wolves"

    What an epitaph!

  • ddavidd

    All our poetries are epitaphs

or Abby you could go a little farther than your ways and learn some new languages.
Haha the rest of what you side was music to my ears.

  • abracadabra

New languages of the tongue or the farther riching languages of the privet Soul, that is the question!! A language to a wolf is distorted through the lens of the Ego but the language of the Shepherd is pure and clean
it unfolds its wings in the light of Truth!!
It reaches through the impenetrable fabric of Time and folds and unfolds to Infinity!

    There is the Real Meaning!!!

I've long suspected there are only 3 members on this site; incarnations of Bob, Illum, and DDavidd. Illum and Ddavidd might even be the same. I'm obviously Bob.

  • Larry Chamberlin

I still can't get my head around:

    Agent Smith = V = Elrond = Megatron

    EDIT: Wait, who's Janis?

  • Hellon

Larry...you could never get your head around my alter ego...Jamesina Bond so...you had no chance with that one :)

    EDIT

    Janis = Casper

  • silvershoes

Janis is the greatest conundrum of all. Bob, Illum, and Ddavidd all suspect each other, but Janis is actually a hacker that stumbled upon an empty site and decided to play an allusive overlord some 15 or so years ago, but grew tired of the charade and the ramblings of the three active members, then left.

Hellon, au contraire, I have always had the greatest respect for your trade name and I admire the work you did in irradicating that nasty monster from North Korea.

However, I say [he steps up on the table]: "Captain, my captain, let this thread grow to 200 posts & be damned with the non-existent Casper owner!"

    Larry:
Some people like pop some like classical it is only the mater of choice. I wonder what Amadeus would feel in your world.

    Abby:
We were having this discussion in the class the other day. Sartre said existence is before the essence. And come to the morality in the Nuremberg trial a defendant said what he said was not a crime because he just fallowed the norm of his own time. How could he see the just beyond what he were thought and what was the norm of his time. A girl, ( my future girl girlfriend perhaps) said That Guy could not see beyond the confines of his country's norm , the international norm.
My respond was there is a norm even beyond that international norms. It is beyond the confine of time the dynamic of the form and the matter, hasn't changed from what Aristotle described described , it always remains the same. Only in the matter we evolve. Therefor Socrates was executed by the norm of his time. It is exactly why you mock me, and Larry or others, cheers for you because I like Socrates am in touch with the timeless truth, The form, that would not ever change by the fabric of time. It is THE very fabric of time.

  • Larry Chamberlin

Ddavidd, it is the wisest of men who is able to say, like Socrates, "I know nothing."

We come to the ancient crux between being and doing

  • ddavidd

But in saying I know nothing he sees the form
He is mocking the elites if his time who pretended they know everything. They are the rulers who do not listen to reason. Like you guys who are clueless about law and morality yet are those who enforce your rules.

  • silvershoes

I'm not entirely sure that's what he meant. I don't think Socrates was much of a mocker. I do think he had a subtle sense of humor.

How are we clueless about law and morality exactly? You make a lot of ill-mannered comments, but you rarely back them up with substance. Please give examples of how we were clueless and how we could have not been clueless.

  • ddavidd

I explained here dear: part about panorama and core law.

You of all people should know that if the story doesn't add up, there's probably more to it. When we act as mods, the members may not fully understand, but the only reason we would elude is to protect the privacy of a certain situation or of certain members. So, no, I do not think this is a valid example of "cluelessness." The example is instead an excellent depiction of how members may not be totally clued in on why we must do the things we do.

    That was confusing.

Anyway, I agree that links provided should not lead to personal information. Larry acted appropriately and would've acted the same in any similar case with any dissimilar member.

I grew my leg hair out. Not by choice. New apartment runs out of hot water after three minutes. Can't ever seem to shampoo, condition, body wash, face wash, and shave in that chunk of time. And if anyone hates cold showers, it's me. There's snow outside. I need warmth. Argh. What were you saying about mustaches? Maybe if the sun glints just right, you'll see peach fuzz. This one is made out of paper.

Is little miss Sunshine speaking for herself? Haha, send in an application. We'll consider ya, lass.

You disappoint me Jane There is a whole chapter in the law and morality that you purposely ignore out of convenience, no matter how I explain it to you.
Do you have any answer to that poets could post the link to their new born babies, and that is the part of the panorama side branched from the core law, that is enforced, or you just a robot, a phantom that repeats its data??
Do you have any reason what so ever or you want to mock me as you are conceptually mocked by your inability of learning??

  • -Choke-On-MY-Halo-

I hate the cold too Jane! O here's a tip after all is said&done
minimize the amount of water you use like use a little to
maximise the amount of time that you can have to really
exterminate the cold water! I know I am freezing right now
don't even ask I'll tell you I walked from the docs to my dorm
I know that was stupid but I needed to go for something so
a cold Mori is talking right now shivering in her stupidity!!!
to try to enlighten my mood I would get hot coco but sadly
everything is=nothing entertaining has happened just yet! sadly

What can I say? The only man I care to impress is my father. I did not read the entire thread. I did not feel the need.

I'm not sure if it's language barricading our communication, or a fundamental difference in thinking. Both maybe. Either way, I've never felt the need to tell you how you disappoint me, perhaps because truly you do not. You consistently live up to my expectation. I also do not feel the need to publicly denigrate, only ask for elaboration when denigrated and call out denigration of others when I see it. I feel proud of myself for that, not disappointed. It's too bad you feel otherwise if only because it's too bad you feel it at all meaningful to feel otherwise.

As for water tricks, I've tried them all. Reduced the water pressure to a trickle and the conditioner won't wash out of my hair. More than a trickle, the hot water runs out too fast. It's a catch-22. My landlord said he'll get us a new water heater. Now we play the waiting game.
