Help! Account Closed?

I did not go on my other account for several months, and it was closed without my knowledge! Is there any way that I can get it back?

Not sure what has happened but if you click on the name you use now it gives you your id shown at top of display. If you look down in the profile section and click on that Favorite Author, Shades of Gray, looks like it takes you to the account you had with a different ID. The account you use now you are male and the old account show you female so not sure this is you but somehow these two accounts are tied together.

Is the account you're having problems with this one?

Yes, that is the one. (This is to the second response, not the first. Sorry, that one was not it)

What appears on your screen when you log in to the account you believe has been closed?

When I type in the username and password, an empty page comes up with the words: "This account has been closed"

When I go to the members list and type in the user name Vermilion I can access your other account without a problem.

Did you perhaps have a third account which you deleted? Maybe it was linked in some way to the other one?

Nope, I've tried the same thing. I can view my account just fine, but when I sign in it says my account is closed

    So...when did you notice this...today?

  • Philophobia

I actually noticed it several months ago, but I didn't care about getting back on that account until today

So..if you can view it, why don't you just copy and paste the poems to this account...just a suggestion...

I wanted to be able to check messages etc.

  • Hellon

Mmm...can't suggest anything for that problem...sorry.

    It's fine. Thanks for trying

I'd be more interested in saving my poems than checking out old messages BTW....

Me too, and after a period that will not be possible

You're attempting to sign into an older account that you had closed:
    http://www.poems-and-quotes.com/author.html?id=498363

the User ID you are trying is associated with the older account, not the one you still have open @
    http://www.poems-and-quotes.com/author.html?id=498364

I will send you a PM with the e-mail associated with the still-open account

    EDIT:
    Done

Unfortunately, we do not have access to IDs or passwords, but the email should allow you to retrieve your password.

Thank you very much for your assistance! The email helped clear up what was wrong. I greatly appreciate it!
