    Mans stupidity

For those that know me I'm an Atheist. I have never believed in any religion, ever. The concept of infinity took care of that, which goes hand in hand with Time, our attempt to measure the distance between two points. My religion if you can call it that is, or should I say was, "Faith in mankind"

I'm not going to talk about religion that's been done to death. No it's my faith that is dying. My faith in humanity. The world is so out of kilter it's absurd, obscene...

I watch the news: there is a breakthrough in medical science through Nano technology where human body parts can be made using three D printers

The next story is of 13 people that have been beheaded by ISIS, followed by the story of thousands of young school girls being held as sex slaves by some madman in Africa

then the Japanese expanding their Whale hunt to include some species on the brink of extinction, just so they can cook some special dish that acts as an aphrodisiac to enhance their sex drive

Our species isn't bright or clever, The majority are either stupid or consumed by greed and motivated by money, destroying the very planet we rely on for survival...the ones that aren't, turn a blind eye thinking, she'll be fine mate

The worlds leading power, the USA is on the brink of Bankruptcy and will have to repay 2 trillion dollars shortly, with reserves of Gold and oil only amounting to 500 billion. Every Man woman and child in the US owes the equivalent of $56,000 and everyday that is increasing. Once that happens and it will its only a matter of time the world will go into chaos ... With the US basically owned by China and Japan, will that lead to war ? who knows

We are not some evolved species with a higher purpose we are a cancer on the world. And everyone of us is on the gravy train at somethings or somebody elses expense

When the economy of one country is so embroiled in the economy of the other, I'm reminded of of the Watchmen. Rorschach in prison screaming to hundreds who want revenge against him: "You guys don't get it. I'm not stuck in here with you. You're stuck in here with me!"

China better do everything in their power to help the US economy.

Wow, Nicko. Strong stuff. I am also pro humanity and believe in morality/goodness and feel we've gone awry as a species. You don't need to be religious to be a good person. And religion doesn't make anyone bad. I think enough people are malleable and/or selfish for it to have a huge impact on all of us. Religion can be a motivator in both good and bad deeds, as with many things that we believe in - faith in a deity or faith in those around us; both are powerful.

Er do everything in their power to help the US economy..

That maybe in the US's best interest but certainly not in China's

Yes but if they already own the assets within the US there's no real benefit... they will default sooner or later its unavoidable

Man's stupidity is pathetically pitiful ,yet I can generalize or give specific examples with or without being hateful. Justification for the seven deadly sins now days has to start with justifying the labeling of human nature as sinful at all. I just checked in a facebook page dedicated to a teenager who was shot and killed by a deputy. Shortly after organizing support for justice she told her group she would not tolerate bickering as I define bickering as a petty argument I would ask Larry how much pettiness is allowed in a courtroom where witnesses are required to swear(pardon the pun) .

sin (n.) Look up sin at Dictionary.comOld English synn "moral wrongdoing, injury, mischief, enmity, feud, guilt, crime, offense against God, misdeed," from Proto-Germanic *sun(d)jo- "sin" (cognates: Old Saxon sundia, Old Frisian sende, Middle Dutch sonde, Dutch zonde, German Sünde "sin, transgression, trespass, offense," extended forms), probably ultimately "it is true," i.e. "the sin is real" (compare Gothic sonjis, Old Norse sannr "true"), from PIE *snt-ya-, a collective form from *es-ont- "becoming," present participle of root *es- "to be" (see is).

The semantic development is via notion of "to be truly the one (who is guilty)," as in Old Norse phrase verð sannr at "be found guilty of," and the use of the phrase "it is being" in Hittite confessional formula. The same process probably yielded the Latin word sons (genitive sontis) "guilty, criminal" from present participle of sum, esse "to be, that which is." Some etymologists believe the Germanic word was an early borrowing directly from the Latin genitive. Also see sooth.

Sin-eater is attested from 1680s. To live in sin "cohabit without marriage" is from 1838; used earlier in a more general sense. Ice hockey slang sin bin "penalty box" is attested from 1950.sin (v.) Look up sin at Dictionary.comOld English syngian "to commit sin, transgress, err," from synn (see sin (n.)); the form influenced by the noun. Compare Old Saxon sundion, Old Frisian sendigia, Middle Dutch sondighen, Dutch zondigen, Old High German sunteon, German sündigen "to sin." Form altered from Middle English sunigen by influence of the noun.

I think the Cree Indians figured this out a very long time ago with this proverb...

"Only when the last tree has been cut down,
    the last fish been caught,
    and the last stream poisoned,
will we realize we cannot eat money."
