    There can be hard copies-books,diaries,memories,tales but yeah if all this isn't there then it's lost!

    Have you thought about unlearned or innate behavior ?

    Please elucidate!

    It is just a deeper thought about the abstract connection of the male /female thing as to a plan . An extension of 20 question and etymology of the word creation . In procreation the male of a higher life form finds its own kind not by scientific trial & error but by a knowledge that is not monkey see monkey do so to speak . Although I learned on the street my dad never really elucidated on the birds and the bees. Is it sole mate or soul mate?

    The most popular variant is called "Animal, Vegetable, Mineral."

    At some point in my mind the laws of nature transformed minerals / earth along with fire and wind moisturized to evolve something with design ?

    For me it is sole mate, if we come alone and we die alone,it is only fitting that we live alone.Also the place where I mostly live (my mind) can accommodate only one being,as to innate learning that totally depends on the crave, the hunger one have in oneself it cannot be induced from an external source!!

  • Michael D Nalley
    9 years ago

    The external source (in my mind ) is the laws of nature that make life possible . I can imagine life as we know it without a solar system (in my mind) but my mind does not create Life.

  • John Doe

    No what i was trying to say is that yes nature can affect our thoughts,our mind but the basic yearning to learn,even from nature has to come from inside, if that doesnt come from inside(and yes it sometimes doesn't ) then there is no scope for a conscience,evolution,growth !!

    I hold on to a lot of skepticism about astral projection . In many speculations when the soul travels there is imagined an umbilical cord . All that are not hatched have a naval scar . The plan is contained within a shell for many reptiles and birds. The maple tree evolved wings for its seed/plan and the earth is personified as mother nature , yet the earth is not my idol. :)

    I believe people can have soul, but we don't have souls. Doesn't matter how beautiful a person's eyes are, doesn't mean there is something inside us that is eternal or somehow able to go on after we die.

    We are just scared to death of death and so invent things to comfort us in the dark.

    Everybody's building the big ships and boats
    Some are building monuments, others jotting down notes
    Everybody's in despair, every girl and boy
    But when Quinn the Eskimo gets here everybody's gonna jump for joy
    Oh come all without, come all within
    You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn
    Come all without, come all within
    You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn.

    Oh you know I like to do just like the rest
    You know I like my sugar sweet but guarding fumes and making haste
    You know it ain't my cup of meat
    Everybody's out by the trees, feeding pigeons all under the limb
    But when Quinn the Eskimo gets here the pigeons gonna run to him
    Oh come all without, come all within
    You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn
    Come all without, come all within
    You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn

    A cat's meow and a cow's moo to you know I, I could recite them all
    Just tell me where it hurts you, honey, and I'll tell you who to call
    Nobody can get sleep, there's someone on everybody's toes
    When Quinn the Eskimo gets here everybody's gonna want to doze
    Oh come all without, come all within
    You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn
    Come all without, come all within
    You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn

    I somehow agree and disagree, like I somehow find it difficult to believe that insight and conscience can be given to the future generation by default!

    As Kevin said

    We are all scared of death and nothingness so invent immortality....

    Many aged people look forward to death they are tired of life and that's after 90 odd years... can you imagine existing as a soul for a billion years ?? 2 billion years..... because thats what eternity is... never ending..infinite.....is there an opt out clause ?? when a soul has had enough of existing...where do all these souls float around ? in the clouds ? another dimension ???

  • Michael D Nalley
    9 years ago

    To be honest I see your point Nicko . Anything short of eternal rest should scare the hell out of any sane person . I cannot imagine a more peaceful memory than the nothing I imagine before I began developing . Could that be why most of us don't recall sliding out of the security of the womb?

    I am more concerned with what animates us than whether this animation lives past the medium on which it is drawn.

    The spark that propels us may have evolved from the same source as the spark that sent amphibious life onto land, but in such a categorically elevated degree that it is galaxies apart.

    The brain, with all its folds and connections, produces such a state of awareness that we approach life with a sense of bittersweet nostalgia: we are capable of understanding the loss of it and the finality of death. More than that, we rebel from death, we fight it tooth and nail.

    As Kevin says, we invent things that help us to accept what we cannot prevent. We as a species have invented God in many forms and in a myriad of legends. I developed a yearning to understand that drew me past the catechism of my childhood and into religions of other churches and eventually other cultures. I find that every established religion is built upon plinths of clay. I have an abiding spirituality, but I cannot embrace any paradigm that asserts that only by this route can man find "salvation" or "release" or "nirvana."

    There is no formula for how many souls have been on earth lol
    I have discovered the variables that reduce the individuals in a ancestry chart

    We all have a mother and father our mother had a mother and father. And our father had a mother and father. Let me illustrate

    Two parents
    Four grand parents
    Eight great grand parents
    Sixteen great great grand parents
    Thirty two great great great grand parents
    Notice the number doubles every generation.
    Now let's say on average a generation is 20 years
    Let's take a finite number of years say 6000
    Let's say 6000years =300 generations
    1st=1
    2nd=2
    3rd=4
    4th=8
    5th=16
    6th=32
    7th=64
    8th=128
    9th=256
    10th=512
    11th=1024
    12th=2048
    13th=4096
    14th=8192
    15th=16384
    16th=32768
    17th=65536
    18th=131072
    19th=262144
    20th=524288

    Oh my, this is a predicament, if I use this logic to find out how many ancestors I have had since Adam and Eve, don't I need to find a way to decrease these numbers?524288 is only the number of people it took to suffer and die from the time of Christ, that is how many parents it took to make it possible for me to think about this? The problem only gets more complicated if I try to go back farther so never mind

    Michael, you must remember that after a certain number of generations you will run into numerous overlaps. Additionally, the further back you go into a particular insular group the small the population, therefore the greater number of overlaps.

    You should research Time circa 1996 or so for "Eve"

  • Michael D Nalley
    9 years ago

    It sometimes overlaps very early with rednecks lol

    My great great gandfather is also my great great great grandfather and each times titles are filled by one individual the number gets less and less yes that is the variable I discovered for myself after hours of thought

    Four births each second of every day,

    ^ I beg to differ, not everyone is afraid of death nor of nothingness. Just like you mentioned about the elders though there are young ones too.

    I believe in rebirth. Ressurection. Heaven. Hell. Limbo. Purgatory. Paradise. A Soul. God. . .

    I also believe in the power of imagination and the importance of being realistic.

    Good points . Very few people that talk about so called near death experiences come back to this realm fearing the other realm . Of the two people I have personally asked about what they remember about being in a coma . "Nothing" best summarizes the actual event .
