I loved your direct and straight short There is no comfort. Just hitting us hard from the very beginning.

Then you went on and on with complete vulnerability, a very rare one! You spoke your deepest sadness and most honest feelings without trying to decorate them.

This illustration of the case you're trying to elaborate on, is sensational and touching because it is not limited by your poem, but witnessed on a broader table in our daily life.

"This poem really grabbed my attention this week, as Karla takes us into a deep state of depression and truly shows what a dark and lonely place it can be. The tone is hopeless, and dull, and I think she has done a great job with keeping the poem interesting and not cliche for the content. Moving words that really hit the reader hard." (4)

"I must admit this poem was over my head when I first read it. Each time I read it became more sublime until the richness of the first stanza reflected back from the last line brought the whole theme together." (10)

"I love it when two genres are mixed together. There is a very smart mixture in this nature poem that holds this mysterious touch.

The title was very eye catchy, loved it.

The creature and the description of the creature is mind blowing, completely nailed.

For someone reason the closing verse made me feel a little sad, and for some other reasons I felt irony or hidden ranting...This poem was seriously just different.

And I hope it ends up on the front page.

"The 1st stanza felt like a form, for a second. The positioning of the word choice just gave this format to your piece. It was a smart one anyhow.

Then you went on the contrary of aspect in your 2nd stanza, and it started to get more personal. I love how this subject was taken from a new perspective, "dirty lens".

Your 3rd stanza was the most poetic and lyrical. Just loved it all.

It's a combination of different writing styles on my opinion, and it did not put me off, it was actually interesting to see one developing his thoughts along with his method, pertinent to what message he wants to convey in the stanza.
