Can't believe we're almost halfway through [March] already! Big thank you to all the past and current judges, for all the hard work and awesome insight you guys give. |

I hope the new judges will be more impartial than their predecessors. Since the beginning of January, there have only been three weeks when at least one mod has not been on the front page. One of the three saw an HM for one mod and the other two, saw neither win nor HM for any of said mods, perhaps they just didn't post a poem to their account in that period. |

Hope there are fair judges regardless of their awards. |

One thing people on here need to understand is that everyone has thier individual views on a good poem... Being fair, is to forget who wrote the poem and focus on the poem itself.... Even then, it may not seem fair to other members on this site... I've been a judge in the past and there will always be members who feel the judging was not quite right. |

Stability is overrated for poets (ask Poe or Coleridge) but valuable for judges. |

Not everyone would choose the same exact poems Mark. |

Senyru, great point. Maybe 3 judges with a spare would be better than 4 judges, but 5 judges would be best of all! |

I agree with silvershoes ^ 4 seems like it would just cause higher potential of scoring issues/ties. and 5 works well, when they are actually interested in the things they do. |

As I tried to say many times everyone involved in the contest (writers & nominators) did a great job which made the judging job very difficult . |
